let me know how this turns out. im curious. just make sure that light travels through the paint. the hard part is. when you think your done painting, and you turn on the lights, white light comes through in some spots where the paint isnt as thick. just make sure your doing even light coats, youll be pleased with your outcome

it took me 2 hours to paint them and wait inbetween coats of paint, and yeah it turned out good, yeah the light shined yellow throught the paint, and i can say yeah i noticed a better brilliance in teh light i'll be posting pics tomorrow, granted be weather permitting, but i'll link ya then.

Do they come in red paint, if so, do you think it will work with the gauge cluster lights?

convert to red LEDs brighter last longer and wont fade..


as far as the lights they are decent.. they seem to always paint darker than the OEM ones.. but whatever.. as far as the clear it MIGHT have something to do with not letting the paint fully cure before applying it.. i remember reading before that paint and clear are not the same and if you try to spray them on top of one another at the wrong time it will f**k it all up

Go to any large craft store. Michaels/ Rag Shop/ AC Moore

have fun repainting them every f**kin time it rains bro, i did this once and had to repaint them like 5x a week when it rained, and snowed.......they might be cheaper but there quality is horrible. its a pain in the ass and just gets f**kin annoying.

save up and get the real ones.

Awesome fogs. I'm digging the yellow. I have some Oem's for my EJ8, but haven't had the money to put them on.... I have to use my tax return to get some body work done so I don't think the fogs will go on anytime soon. Errr....

I do not have the tools nor the skills to do it myself. I always screw body stuff up so I am waiting until Todd can help me do it or until I can pay to have it done.
