eh not feeling the blue, but its not my car. For performance parts, you can do a header, but will see next to no benefits. D series dont react much to bolt ons. Only way to get real power is forced induction. With a header, intake, exhaust you will see maybe 3 to 5hp gains if that. First thing i would recommend is a complete tune up
I plan to do plugs & wires, distributer/timing has all been recently changed. I'm also gonna switch to R purple oils (love this stuff). not really interested in forced induction as this is my DD, but later down the road I plan to do a F.I. CRX

Not a bad price compared to buying an OEM grill, I need to get a bunch of clip screws so I can replace some bad ones, tried to find some at the junkyard but people have already picked those over, I did see a 97 lx with both side skirts OEM but you would have to be down here in FL to get them, might be able to get them for $15 a piece at the u pull it yard. I'm still looking for visors in grey for mine but I got the material from the guy who did my headliner so I could recover my old ones but don't know if I am crafty enough to do it myself. BTW, I think the blue accents look good, I might paint my center console just don't know what color yet.

I am in FL lol ft myers area. I'm planning to recover my headliner and visors in black, once I figure out how to take the damn back/middle plastic pieces off and drop the headliner. Maybe I can find a write-up somewhere,

easiest way, take back seats out, side panels, rear deck, then continue on. I can do it in about 5 minutes now but i removed my side handles and hooks in the rear when i wrapped my headliner, i foudn them useless. but i dont bolt my bottom seat in or clip it in. i couldnt tolerate those clips..
-remove mirror, visors, handles, light, all the junk
-Bottom seat is three clips in front and a 10mm on back driver side
-top seats are tens on the back
-seat braackets on sides are a 13 or 14mm on each side
-pop sides off
-unplug rear deck, take trim piece out from around key hole, pop rear deck out
-unbolt seat belts whihc is a 14mm
-pop all the panels off but i keep the one at the top of the rear windshield in
there may be some small stuff i missed but i wrote this quickly

1SIKCIVIC did you ever recover your sun visors, that's the last thing I need to make the interior complete, I have the matching fabric from my headliner to do it, he gave me enough to do 4 visors if I wanted to, I have seen some write ups on it & 1 crappy video some guy did & they looked horrible when he was done but his deconstruct was good info, mine are ripped & faded so they need to be changed or recovered.

That's not too far away, I live in Brandon, it's down I-74 north of you, you need to see if they have an LKQ U-Pull it salvage yard near you or come up here, I'll go out there with you, I love a good treasure hunt plus there are at least 10 96-00 sedans out there, one I almost picked clean & need to go back & get a few more things off of if others haven't got to it yet, let me know, names Mike BTW.

Yea I would like to do that but they are ripped & the fabric on them is very thin, I touch it & it rips so I have been very careful with them.

you could go all crazy and get foam and form shapes in them like I did to my headliner in my old s10 lol

are you supposed to use a hot glue gun or staples to do the visors?

Here is the instructions I found & modified to fit the needs of my visors....

Well it looks like it's been sewn in the edge, so I cut that with a knife, then it opens like a book, pull off hardware (mirror, bracket) pull off old stuff, open like a book on the fabric, cut the fabric with about an inch of space all the way around it, use 3M spray glue & stick the visor on the fabric & flip to make sure it's smooth, then you fold in the edges all the way around it while using high strenth fabric glue, trim off a little bit of the extra fabric, reinstall your mirror & bracket, use fabric glue to seal it back together & use 10 large binder clips to hold it together while it dries.

I may try this over the weekend & I'll update with pics my progress.

Driver's side

Not too bad I guess, it's my first time doing it, I should have took before pics but here in the finished product, I didn't reinstall the mirrors, the frames looked bad so I left them out.

Thanks guys, it wasn't as hard as I made it out to be, that 3M spray glue works pretty good, sealed it with the fabric glue & used 10 large binder clips on it untill they were dry, can't wait to reinstall them later.

where did you buy your fabric? they look great.
I paid a mobile headliner guy to come out & he charged me $60 to cover the headliner, then gave me enough fabric to cover 3 visors because I told him I might try to do it myself, I got it free of charge, I tipped the guy $10 for the work, he did an awesome job.

It was the same stuff he used on ther headliner, fabric with a foam backing, you can buy rolls of it online he said.
