heres one for you joe.

meatball subs!

ingredients:

1 or 2 footlong bread (your choice, i prefer wheat)
1 lb ground beef
1 1/2 tb spoon of peprika
1 tb black pepper
3 jalapenos
1/2 onion
butter
valveeta cheddar cheese
montereyyy jack cheese
corn oil

marinating meat:

1. grab a small mixing bowl and put all the meat in.
2. now grab your jalapenos and wash them, then proceed to dice them as small as you can and add to the bowl.
3. add your 1 1/2 tb spoon of peprika, 1 tb of black pepper.
4. heres the messy part, wash your hands, then proceed with mixing all the contents of the bowl with your hands or with one of those nifty long spoons.
5. after its all marinated and everything is mixed in well, start making meat balls the size of golf balls. (best technique is to pick up clumps of meat and roll them with your hand.)
6. fire up the stove, pour some oil in a pan and let it get hot.
7. while its getting hot, grab your onion and start dicing them. after your through with that, throw them in the pan.
8. mix the onions in with the oil and then grab your balls and put them in the frying pan.
9. let it simmer and cook thoroughly. (takes about 5-6 minutes)
10. now this is your choice, cut your bread through the center, and either microwave your bread OR you can toast them in the oven until they turn golden. (oven is best, and if you do do this, then sprinkle some garlic power and basil on the top of the bread when toasting.)
11. slice your 2 cheese very thinly and leave them to the side.
12. grab a plate, put your bread on it, grab the butter and paste it onto one side of the bread with a butter knife, then take out your balls and put it on top of the butter, after this youll want to add your cheese on top of the balls in a row and pull over the other half of the bread and walaa!! (*note* you should let the the cheese melt on the balls before you eat)

enjoy!

Can you post a recipe for something that's Quick, CHEAP, Healthy, and does not include peppers or onions? lol... please.

In the mean time:

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana protein shake
Needed:
-Blender
-3 slightly overripened bananas (just when they're starting to look like they've gone bad. They're the sweetest at this time.)
-1 packet of carnation instant breakfast milk chocolate
-Non-fat Milk (other types of milk can be substituted.)
-Peanut Butter
-Ice

1. Add bananas, and carnation instant breakfast into blender
2. Add 2 - 3 tablespoons of peanut butter (Some people like more or less of a peanut butter taste)
3. Add some milk and fill the blender the rest of the way with ice.
4. Blend until there are no more ice chunks and ingredients are well mixed.
5. Enjoy

NOTE: Use ice and milk to regulate texture.
-Ex: If you blend it and it's too thin, add more ice, reblend.
-Ex: If you blend it and it's too thick, add more milk, reblend.

Tastes great, Full of vitamins, Full of protein. Great for breakfast or after a workout.
DOOD! I use this one too! Cept I only use one banana. Good ish!

all right im feeling a lil adventurous . Heres a nice DESSERT RECIPE FOR YOU.

FLAN

12 eggs - seperate 6 yolks and 6 egg whites.
evaporated milk 1 can
condensed milk 1 can
3 cups granulated sugar

Combine 6 whole eggs and 6 egg yolks in a bowl . Disregard the egg whites. Add both types of milk and whisk until all are combined well.

in a separate pot pour granulated sugar with about 2 cups of water and boil until sugar caramelizes . DON NOT LET IT TURN DARK BROWN..IF IT DOES YOU BURNT IT AND ITS NO LONGER GOOD. YOU WANT A VERY LIGHT AMBER COLOR.

Now set oven to 350 and preheat for 10 min. Then pour caramel into a cake pan round or square. then pour in flan mixture. Put pan in a larger pan and add about an inch and a half of water to it and cover with aluminum foil. Place in oven and let cook for about an hour an a half . Or until firm yet soft . It should jiggle like JELLO. Once its cooked let it cool in the fridge or freezer . Flip onto a place and serve. YUMMMY

i made some little tacos similar to the recipe on the last page....

tortillas
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 can black beans
1 sweet onion
2 tomatoes
1 jalapeno
1 clove garlic
1 bunch cilantro
1 avacado
1 tbsp olive oil
salt

Salsa
roughly chop the 2 tomatoes, 3/4 of your onion, and the jalapeno (depending on how hot, either leave the vains/seeds, or remove them if you like it mild)...place in either a blender or a food processor....chop some of your cilantro (i LOVE cilantro, so i might use more than you - use as much as you think your going to like)....add that....add maybe 1/4 of a cup of water, and start pulsing, get it to the consistancy YOU like....when its done, add salt to taste, and let sit in the fridge....

boil your chicken (im not even sure how long that takes, wifey boiled it while i was still at work)...

while the chicken is boiling, get a sauce pan, add about a tbsp of olive oil, and turn the heat to medium....while that is heating up, dice the rest of your onion, and 1 clove of garlic...when the oil is hot, add them to the sauce pan, and let them get soft/brown....when that is ready, add the black beans and SOME of the liquid in the can, not all of it....using the back of a wooden spoon (or a masher, if you have one, would be perfect) and mash up the beans until they get fairly smoothe.....

once your chicken is done, either cut it into thin strips, or like me, shred it....heat up your tortillas....smear some of your black bean dip on the tortilla, add the chicken, put a slice or 2 of avacado, and a bit of your fresh homemade salsa, and your good to go :thumbs up

My own little chicken thing..

3/4 of an onion peeled, chopped into fine portions..
1/2 Tomato, cut into fine pieces
Family pack of boneless and skinless chicken breasts
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
Red Pepper Flakes
Ginger
Apple Juice
Butter
Red Wine Vinegar
Apply Cider
Cajun Seasoning

I cut the chicken into small bite size pieces, while cutting off the white fatty meat so all you have left is pink meat.

Peel and chop the onion. Also chop the tomato.
Add more of less for your taste, this may have too much of an oniony taste for some.

Get a skillet and add about a TBL Spoon of butter, turn the heat to medium and let the butter melt fully.

Add about a cup and a half of olive oil. Put in the onion and tomato as well.

Once this starts to sizzle, add in the chicken, and let it sit for a few minutes.

Add a TBL spoon of Pepper, and a tea spoon of salt.
Add a half cup of Apple Juice and Apple Cider and Red Wine Vinegar (This gives the chicken a nice red color.)

Let this sit for a minute or two, and add a tbl spoon of Red Pepper Flake and a teaspoon of Ginger.

Stir this around, and check to see if your chicken is cooking properly. You may want to flip your chicken a few times, once it starts turning white it's cooking.

Go a little crazy with the Cajun Seasoning, this'll give it a good nice crisp taste.

I like doing some Fried Rice or Spanish rice with this.
Once the chicken is done, place some chicken on a plate, add some rice, put some fresh parsley to give it some color, and you have a nice, beautiful dinner!

You probably don't need a cup and a half of olive oil if you wanted to lighten the fat. I'm sure a splash would do great to grease the pan.
