... i am waiting for someone to reply to me making them an avatar.... why must they leave 10 minutes after they say they want one?
Within a week I learned some things about cars.... Ford Rangers are the biggest pieces of s**t in the world. Ford pickups and Chevy pickups are always needing some kind of parts. The most common part I'm asked for for Dodge trucks is... locking gas caps. (No, I don't really care for Dodge, but this is true.) Intrepids don't run on gas, they run on brake pads. Sebring Convertibles that cost you $500 cost that much because they need lots of parts replaced. No one knows what trim Saturn it is or if it's single or dual overhead cam. Not even the mechanic that was just messing under the hood of it for an hour. The Chevy Aluminium comes in the form of a car and a van. Sometimes you need to replace your front rotaries. Roughly a third of people know what kind of rear brakes they have (disc or drum). No one with a Ranger knows which braking system they have. Late gen Ford Thunderbirds will never find a match for the correct brakes. It should be against the law to send your wife to pick up car parts. She'll just call you to ask all the info all over again anyway. Don't have someone else call for you when you're right there anyway. They will probably get just as confused as they ever have been about cars and put you on the phone anyway.$lick Rick said:when i worked at an auto parts store everyone had the chev 350 parts memorized
it's the most common v8 in the world, it's something you will probably be asked about allot if your area is anything like mine
