lol. yeah. I dont know if I'm going to like the X though. Or the new STI. Are they still keeping the alluminum block? I was thinking about buying a used 04/05 STI, but was turned away by the aluminum block and their lack of response to mods. I dont mind the payments too much, I can afford the payments AND still be able to do stuff that I want to do.. so it's not holding me back too much, it's just mods will come slower than when i had my 240. Payments are a pain, but it's better than getting help from Mommy and Daddy

Id imagine it would be aluminum. They 2.5 l can handle boost fairly well, the turbo isnt big enough to give the gains like the one on the evo. And cams do wonders for the evos...cams on an sti/wrx are a b***h to put on and dont give near the performance.

There are plenty of stock block sti's runnin around with gt35r's in the 500hp range. You can get an easy 50-60 ponies out the sti, then your gonna need a new turbo.

As frustrating as it is... yes. Manual says 600 miles, but I'm taking it easy till 1000 or a little over. Probally going to change the oil at 600 though... I'm at 550 miles now... the tranny was notchy as hell when I first got it, but it's starting to break in nicely, it's getting alot smoother going through the gears.

yea its good to change the oil and filter after the break in period. isn't it recommended?

Nice ride man whats. Did you pick it up stock from the place or did you have them mod it. When my dad bought his he had them put a stage three, because I guess they come with a stage one...I really don't know but thats what I heard. Anyways nice car man
