Pics of my 99 ex... And now my 98 Hatch

Here is my 99 Ex... and i know you are all gonna ask why i call myself turboej7...my vin in my window was a type-o and it said ej7 so thats were it came from...in case anybody was wondering... :2confused

So n-e ways...mods if i posted the pics wrong please let me know and i will redo it...

I have done some more beauty mods to the motor like a mugen strut bar and a mugen oil cap and I have taken out the secondary fuel pump and added a steel braided fuel line in its place... but nothing special enough to take another pic.. you all know what that stuff looks like. However... at the end of summer this motor is going into a EK and im putting my ls/vtec with b16 pistons in the civic to make it more reliable and it will allow me to put the motor to better use in the EK hatch... I will prolly make the EK a streetable drag car, hopping for mid to low 12's after she gets back from getting sleeved... yet I have a feeling that traction is gonna own my ASS... but as soon as she in the hatch I will post pics of that too... :kickass:

Do they allow you to take the front liscense plate off of your car in Oregon? Your FMIC would breathe so much easier with it out of the way =)

The Hydralics looking thing is the carbon fiber splitter... I figured i would give it a try, I have studdied aerodynamics alittle and it helps to devert air into the intercooler and push other air under the car, unfortunatly the splitter I purchased is really thin... so it kinda defeats itself...

And Mr LIn... it sucks, in oregon you have to have a licence plate visible from the front, if you put it into the window of the car... they right you a 75 dollar ticket... so after paying about 300 dollars worth of that particular fine... i decided to hell with it and put her back on... its ghey but as a firefighter, the more tickets i have... the less trucks im able to drive...

And as far as specs.... the turbo is a t3/t4, straight from a drag gen III.... and the motor is a built bottom end B18c... with a few other bolt ons... I have bought a rear disc conversion but my training has put a delay on istalling it.... and what did you mean by........."You're car looks really i mean really nice"??? You lost me manga

I bought the universal brackets for it and then i took the stock sliders of my seats and fabricated it to the brackets... I could write out the process...but its not really that hard... if you have a welder and some welding expierence...

The car posted a 13.5 @105.9mph with 22x8 slicks ... it hasnt been tuned on the dyno so i just street tuned it to get a good guess of a time before i sleeve it... 13.5 was fun but i know it can do better... my 60' were 2.1 so traction owned me... so in the hatch im gonna have to put some bigger slicks, traction bars, and definatly alter the suspension to keep her sticking to the pavement...

The Lip is gonna be painted in the near future... im waiting to do body work and other such exterior mods after I pull the turbo'd motor out and put my ls/vtec in... I need my car reliable for the school year and this motor has proved to be a severe pain in my ass...

And last but not least.... (sorry I make long post but its better than making tons of lil ones and made fun of for being a post whore)... the licence plate relocator from cusco looks cool, but for thirty bucks...umm no, I would have to agree with you about making one on my own... Plus the hatch can be altered when i get to that project... that car im gonna be anal about airflow to the fmic

Its a drag with the tial.... the turbonetics one was junk.... and i run 11-12psi now... i was running 8psi when I dragged it because it was only 500 miles out of the breakin period
