hehe, turboej7, u know your car is hot, even though i don't have a turbo or non of that fast stuff, and a splitter most definitely wont have any effect on my speed (my car is stock ass slow), i still wanna get one, splitters make any ride look that much hotter, keep it up.

prolly not, becuase the compression will be close to 11:1, so boostin 8lbs will make a short life on your rings.
why not get forged a little larger diameter if you're gonna take the time to pull the block apart?
are those the mugen knock offs on the hatch? they look good!

Well to clarify for ya man so that it dont sound wierd... the coupe is getting an ls/vtec w/ b16 pistons (N/A motor) and the turbo'd set-up with the low C/R is going in the hatch after its sleeved... that way i can run alil more than a bar safely.

And the rims on the hatch are circuit 10's, sport bronze... if thats what you mean by mugen knock off's

That seems to be the major comment so just to let everyone know what it is... its a tsunami lip with a CF splitter... And i happen to like it so thanks for the comments but it my car and i have to rock it with it on there

I am however thinking of getting rid if the rims cause they are a pain in the ass to keep clean... but the side markers are staying...

I just finished the hatch tonight. Did a 99 conversion and finally got the side moldings, lips, and side skirts back from paint and washed up the lil lady and thought i would share with you all, still got a few exterior things to do but this about wraps the jist of it up.

exterior mods include...

99 front end conversion
Oem fog lights
Mugen style urethane lip
Civic type-r style rear lip
99 rear hatch
99 rear tails

i remember the races there back in the day...... those were fun times but probably one of the worst spots possible if you're trying to keep a low profile..... and it was short......

but it was wide, surrounded by fields on both sides, and well lit.... i liked that it was safer than most anywhere else they've found around here

and the fact that you could see EVERYTHING from beltline...... cops knew about us within minutes of getting there and setting up...

a few years ago i was gonna go watch up at shotgun but as i was driving by i didnt see anything worth watching... so i just kept driving up the hill for about 45 minutes. we found a place, cranked the music up really loud and, my friends that i brought along and i just hung out for a few hours up there chillin under the stars..... it was a great night.... but i just had to leave when i did and drove down to see a group of 20 or so people sitting in a circle in the middle of the road with a cop running their licenses.... i was in my civic hb so he thought i was racing then took off when he busted it up.... so he pulled out his gun and got me on the ground, he was saying he could arrest me for avaiding and stuff.... god that was a f**ked up night

i stopped going to the meetups right after that, it was getting to where %80+ of the people coming were 16 y/o's with a 12 pack of beer in their dady's car wanting to race everything....... untill then i'd been lucky and only had to ditch'n run once before that. oh, and the time that del sol was rear-ended out alvadore by some kid in his dad's brand new mustang gt.... and the time that some kid out by alvadore broke his steering box (i think) in his old domestic and as i was leaving i looked back to see the only people left on that road was the kid and a cop with his lights on... other than that, i've been pretty lucky

i've only been out to CJ's once or twice i think............ i just dont wanna take the risk of getting busted anymore
