what monitor did you get? how much did it cost and how are you liking it?

Anfrey, I got a ViewSonic 19" LCD Widescreen monitor. Purchased at Fry's for $240 ish something with a rebate to bring it back down to $199. About 4 weeks old.

Loving the monitor. Espically the widescreen aspect of it. Movies are 100x better now to watch on the LCD W-S, games look awesome (makes it look like u can see more, probably not tho) and editing graphics, superb. Well worth it.

I know its not a straight up picture of the desktop, but two monitors are kinda fun. I suggest hookin one up if you have an extra layin around! Here's my dorm.

^^ when your desktop is showing, press the "print screen" key on your keyboard....then immediately open up Photoshop, or MSPaint, and then right click and paste, and your desktop SHOULD paste on there....then just save/host/post

i used to have two monitors. it was pretty nice, except for the fact that one of them came from the 80's.

where do all these crazy windows mods/skins come from? i'd like to try them out.

I want to get another flat panel monitor...have two makes things a lot easier and frees up space IMO.

i organize my stuff awkwardly.

all my music, photos, graphics, car pics, etc are on external HDD's

the top left icon is IMPORTANT DESKTOP FILES... its where I save like working projects, before i move them somewhere. graphics and photos and papers and stuff.

Other icons on the right are like School Files, Brushes, Fonts, Desktop Files (all that is is like 50 backgrounds and aim logs and aim profile saves and etc)
