couldn't figure out how to do this...didn't wanna break anything..so i'm just gonna go with subs now...lol

what kind of subs did you get? I was going to put mine in but I'm getting sick of them. and thats just more weight lol.

By the way.....I'm selling 2 12's with a box (Kicker Comps) if anyone in Florida is interested :!:

I finally found some time to install my rear speakers!!! everything went well. It took almost 2 hours all together, wanted to make sure I did everything right. I have pics but imageshack wasn't working right for me. Ill try to post later.

removing the rear seat..


now the back panels..

stock speakers...

took em out..

The Pioneers =)

long story short...back to normal !



It took almost 2 hours all together, wanted to make sure I did everything right.

But guess what. I just realized that i never plugged the 3rd brake light back in. FUUUUCCCKKK ! lol, guess I have to get back in there

wow..that looks hard...ripping off all the side panel and s**t....good thing i didn't go that route...but yeah, i picked up two alpine type S subs in a sealed box..(200w rms/600w max)...(in my other thread in the audio section)

It actually wasn't very hard at all. It took my almost 2 hours but thats just because I didn't know what i was doing. Its a good way to say about 50 bucks

It shouldn't take longer than 20 min. Its just a pain to deal with.
no way

when done right that car should take 2 hours to put in rear speakers

all that plastic need to come out as well as the rear seat

you can do the quick way and take out the rear seat and bend the package tray and use a skewdriver

but it is a good way to vrack something

Same Step as 98 Civic LX?

I just bought an entire Alpine Audio system: Deck, front and rear type R speakers to replace my old Alpine system. Is it the same method for installing the rear speakers for an 98 civic lx? Also, how do I install the front speakers?
I been doing some research and some say I need to take off the door panel, do some mods and others say I just screw the speakers in.
