i didnt read the rest of the convo.. but if you buy an srt4, sure you get a great price and alot of speed and a great warrenty. But Insurance knows your ass is turboed and they will rape you accordingly. Under 25 male in a turbo sports car=insurance rape

Right here....

http://www.albeedigital.com/supercoupe/articles/0-60times.html ALL CONFIRMED TIMES. Read the paragraphs before the times, It explains it in there.

And yes it does run a full second slower. They adjusted the powerband as well in the 05 to make the power at a lower RPM.......And I think they may have lowered the redline also. not sure on that though.
ill take the times from the magazines that did the tests themselves over the internet. and the video was a 2000, not a 2003. from that same site, it rates the 2000 as a 14.2, which is about what a srt-4 runs, so im almost positive that s2k was stock. i still find it weird how the 2000, 2004, and 2005 all run around a flat 14, and for some reason that site says the 2003 runs almost a flat 15. a 240hp rwd car running a flat 15, when my 160hp fwd car runs a 15.7.

:edit: found my road and track listing a 2003 honda s200 at a 14.1 @ 99.2 mph. all the times they list are the ones they do road tests on themselves so......

both cars are nice but i would get an s2k hands down, better stance, better resale value, way better looks from any point of view, just a better car period, except for the "bang for buck"

sooooooooooo did you read the top part like I asked. Thats where the site GETS the times from sir!!!! Mags! They only post it if its confirmed from a reputable (sp?) magazine.

I dont know why there is a difference though. A stock s2000 will not pull awway from a car that runs .2 faster.... am I right? THe srt4 didnt misshift either.. so....................:what:

well maybe they are wrong, like i said, i will take the times im looking at in front of my face from the actual magazine over the internet, because there is less room for error and they actually tested the cars themselves. and it said 14.9 ( manual ) like there are auto s2k's... that just leads me more to believe they made a mistake somewhere. and if u watch the vid, they are dead even almost the whole way, and the times that I have seen reflect that. if you want to base your opinion off one source on he internet versus my 3-5 magazine articles who did the 1/4 themselves, go ahead.

Todd's got a cool white GSR. But Yeah i pay like 215 a month for my integra. Todd I know you were contemplating a SRT-4 a while ago but I would get a S2000 anyday over an SRT-4. The S2000 are just too sweet bro.

i'd be buying new for the warranty, the srt4 is much easier and much less expensive to make faster and it's covered by warranty 100%
the s2k is pretty much tapped from the factory for power, costs $10,000 more, and as little as an aftermarket intake will void the warranty

o wow.. didn't know that.. so even though you mod the engine, the warranty stays on srt4?
