we're saying the same thing.

I'd call an integra with a b16a an integra to non-honda enthusiast but if i were at a honda meet and someone asked what kind of car i had i'd say i have a B16 integra or a swapped teg or an integra with a B16.

Just like the trim, the engine becomes a way of further explaining your car in detail to people:
For example: I have a civic ex is more descriptive than saying I have a civic

Just like: I have a B16 civic or I have a GSR civic is more descriptive than just saying I have a civic

are you talking about me?

=) same thing i was saying. Why do DEALERS selling dere car sayen " ITS A CIVIC WITH GSR SWAP ? LOL " ...( explainin wat the car is lol )

Of course it's a Civic. Of course it has a GSR swap (for example). But OF COURSE the VIN will not change and it will still always be an EJ6 (or whatever it originally was). It will always be a DX. Trim also doesn't have to do with just the motor.

And I've never heard a *dealer* say they have a Civic with a GSR swap in stock. A dealership generally just calls that a Civic. Go ask your local Honda salesman to explain VTEC to you and then tell me how they'd possibnly know that motor wasn't stock.

Actually, I've heard rumors before that Honda thought about making a 6G Type R coupe and possibly even built a prototype.

Do some research before talking.

im sure if someone put that much time and money in there car there not going to park it on the street "not like it cant get stolen from a garadge but you know what i mean " also im sure hondas dont get stolen where hes from liek they do here in the us

true, I had my old shitty ek sitting for only 30 mins in scranton (a pretty large city), and two jerkoff's were eyeing it up. Plus he doesn't even have to leave it, I remember reading a story on here way back that some kid was getting mugged for his car in daylight. I think it has to much attention to it. But a fun car I bet if you can just have it for sunday driving. Just imo

I believe you need to do a lot more research than I would ever have to on the subject. Here's a clue, I know a fair amount about Hondas. I know a lot more than most people on this site know about chassis code, engine codes and color codes. I know more than you do unless you're really, REALLY good at keeping secrets.

In other words, if you know anything, it sure doesn't show.

its an Si

EM1 :oh:
Depends on what they call EM1s in Thailand too. ;) I see the owner calls it an Si... but honestly, unless I see proof I won't believe it. I see far too many people call their car an Si or a Type R when they definately aren't. :-/ I do see it's definately not a USDM Si though, and thus might not be comparable to the US Si coupe.
