cobras are monsters, my friend has an 04 chamelon he ran a 12.5 1/4 not sure on his mph, but i believe it was mid teens..with only exhuast

vid was good and funny i saw one last nite wen i went to ave p where all the street races b done at and i white srt-4 came pop da hood boosted his turbo i think let air out of his tires and he race a white bubble wit a n/a gsr wit wet nos system and got beaten buy atleast 3 1/2 cars after that racer he went home wat a shame

I realize that it's not the best name for the thread...
I know that SRT-4s are very fast in comparance with Civics but I just don't like them. I know that I have no reason for not liking them I just think they have bad reputation looking too much like Neons...

they actually have a VERY good reputation for reliability and their warranty is one of (if not THE) best on the market as far as supporting modifications.

some people dont like the looks, there's no way to argue looks, it's a personal opinion subject. as far as saying they are "just a neon" that is just ignorant though. the neon and the srt4 have the same amount in common as the evoVIII and the plain ol' lancer have in common. they share a basic frame structure although the srt4 and the evo both have stronly re-inforced frames compared to their low-performance counterparts, they DO NOT share any of the shortcomings with the regular dodge/plymouth neon of old.

the shot of the srt4 blowing it's motor was with a 150 shot of nitrous untuned.... just because the owner is an idiot does not mean the car was at fault
the car at the end was a mitsubishi galant vr4, they have the coveted turbo 4g63 motor.... the same motor found in turbo dsm's AND the evo

an srt4 against a newer mustang gt stock to stock is a drivers race.....

Ive heard rumours that new Evo will be sold in the US as new SRT-4 because Dodge and Mitsubishi belong to DaimlerChrysler... But I think it's just rumours
