Id start small. The SiR is study and simple and really makes the car look a lot better without being obnoxious
I feel you. I don't want to be over doing it with a lip like that (spoon) if I don't have other things to help the lip flow with the theme of the car. Maybe after some decent wheels I can get a nice lip but I would only rock it to car shows and meets no where else. Way to many thieves around my way.

I got bored at work so I'm engraving a logo into the shaft of my shifter. It's going to say "REALstreet" which is a local street racing facebook group I'm apart of. I'm thinking of putting "Club Civic" on the other side.

Since I'm done with my suspension in the rear minus the sway bar I decided to take a picture of it all together.

Thanks guys. Well since I'm using a tie bar I need spacers and longer bolts. Well JHPUSA sells a spacer and bolt kit but for $20 plus shipping I said I'll pass and decided to make my own. Since I work in a machine shop I couldn't justify buying what I can make for free.

Here's JHPUSA's kit

Here's the spacers I made

Going to lowes today to grab some grade 8 bolts that are long enough to fit through the tie bar and subframe.

Idk if anyone seen the thread I made but I'm having a misfire issue.

Pulled the codes and got this

P0303 cylinder 3 misfire detected
P1399 manufacturing control. Ignition system or misfire.

Now when I cleared the codes I drive the car no check engine light under normal driving. I put it in 3rd gear and punched it and the car sputters and the cel flashed again. I tried punching it in 1st & 2nd but the car didn't sputter. It seems like this happens when the engine is under heavy load.

Compression was fine.

I got new plugs but haven't put then in yet it's snowing really heavy.

Here's the old plugs

Ill see what happens.

^^Same issue in the integra. Plugs solved it.
I'm hoping this fixes it but it could be the injector. If it still does this I'm going to take out injector 3 and clean it then switch it with another injector and see if the code follows the cylinder the injector is in.

I changed the plugs and took the car for a spin. I did the same test and put the car in 3rd at a relatively slow speed and punched the gas. The car is running a lot better and so far no cel or misfire. But until I get a chance to take it in the high way and open her up I'm not calling it fixed.

Its not going to fix it. It may work for awhile but u need to figure out whats causing the fouled plugs.

My car burns alot of oil. I'm assuming that's the issue but that's why I'm saving for a swap so I can do away with the single cam. I have been thinking of buying a bare block and building it from the ground up so I can get some experience with building motors. I seen a few bseries blocks for sale. But I don't know the cost of starting a built from scratch. I'm assuming it isn't cheap.

No its not but u get the experience of building an engine and know that everything is new. And if it fails you have nobody to blame but yourself.

Yea I might just look for a short block and start from there. Would buying a block with a spun bearing for cheap be a bad idea?
