That rear T bracket better be off a Civic Type R or it's not going to do you any good. A DC teg one isn't the one you use in an ek chassis. You'll need the T bracket from an em1.

Thanks guys. I guess I just really want a motor for the summer plus the single cam is starting to burn more oil and its SLOW. I'll build a K car maybe next season.
I know it's going to be late but by the time my cousin gets back in August from his deployment he wants to sell his complete lsv setup

Ok so I though is give you guys and update on the plans of the built.

I plan to drop a mildly built B16 block in the car. Basically a stock bottom and built head. Plan to be around 160-170 whp all motor. I've be going with super tech springs & retainers, maybe cams but well see. The heads is going to the machine shop to get cut soon. I do want to get the crank micro polish and get new piston rings, bearings & maybe rod bolts if I need them. Hope to have this in by June. I still have plans to go k series but for a track car and most likely it will be a hatch.

why not just do a bolt on b16? I hit 156, untuned with a 2.25" intake, smashed header, and apexi ws2 exhaust on a healthy motor. Add an intake manifold or 3" cai, done deal.

I'm simply doing some head work so later down the line if I want to swap blocks I already have a built head to slap on. Plus springs and retainers are a must since I plan to rev past the stock rev limit. I have a friend who shifts at 10k with his B16. I don't plan to go that high but it's nice to know a built head can handle it. I've just seen way to many stock B16 heads drop valves. More of a peace of mind with a little top end fun.
