Im glad that they are rebuilding your stuff for you. Ls/vtec is so dangerous though..

And yes spring is comin....and from the looks of it, everyone is coming strong..including me

ls/vtec has always been a dangerous build.
I bet they f**k it up again.

Not it isn't. It gets that stigma because people think they can rev ls rod bolts to 8 grand or people just suck at assembling an engine because they cut corners to save time or are plain lazy (the same thing happens to every engine out there that somebody assembled with mistakes). An LS/VTEC isn't some engine that abides by a completely different set of engine building rules; its just another internal combustions engine, nothing more nothing less.

There are a s**t load of LS and CRVTECs out there that are perfectly reliable.

yea i know i realize that when it came out... i already said that to my boy..lol i talked to the dude at the machine shop and he was like "dont take the motor apart, just take it out and bring everything to me" ....im so pissed and livid

I'd definately look into another shop in general if they're stealing from you too (since it doesn't look like an Eagle rod). I'd look for a reputable shop that deals primarily in VTEC head swaps.

they are supposed a reputable shop...... and they do, do alot of VTEC head swaps and ls/vtec or cr/vtec so unmmmmmm... i dunno what ima do... i just want aleast my money back for the parts and a new block.. i dunno ima go there on friday and drop off the motor and raise hell so we'll see

yea... im thinking about what to do... but in Mass, legally they are not suppose to warranty "racing" engines so. i dunno
