yo just giving you guys an up date---- so at my job, for those of you who dont know im a ASM(asst. service manager) at a Toyota Dealership..... i had the techs here take out my motor-- and the mastertech wanted to take of the oil pan so i told him to go ahead and do so....he brings me my oil pan, the oil splash shield and the oil p-cup to my desk -- what was in it was chunks or block, piston and the ring...
as i fished throught the left over s**t(piston pieces and what nots) oil in the pan-- i found much to my surprise 2 Perfectly good connector rod bolts and the studs now im the that smart when it comes to actually assembling a motor but in order for it the push the rod out like it did, the Bolts should have been broken off with the studs right??? well my mastertech says to me that he thinks the bolts where never actually torqued down at all--- they are just chillin there in the pan---
