Was driving into town with my girlfriend when we had to stop and wait for the car infront of us to turn off and we got rear ended by the person behind us at around 55 mph on impact. The kid had been looking down to change a cd and had not seen us stoped. Me and my girlfriend have some bruises but besides that nobody was hurt. I went back today to the tow yard to take a shot of the damage...

The car is definatley totaled and the other person admited fault. The interior is also completely screwed.

werd, im with them, take everything that would be nice in a diff car that is salvageable, then buy a cheap civic like a 5th gen hatchie and hook it up!!

well i have full corverage so I don't think the insurence company would be to stoked to find out that the motors missing out of it.. well aslong as i want them to settle on what the car is actually worth. but i did hear i could buy the car back from them for maybe cheap after i get the settlement so if i guess we'll see. thanks for all the replies.

I know its hard to tell from the pic (it was taken through a fence) but the rear axle is badly bent. the rear left wheel is pointing outwards.

one thing i always wanted to do was buy a 96-00 hatch and replace EVERYTHING from a wrecked si, so u'd have power everything on a hatch, now's ur chance and that'd be so sexy...
