Well just a little update as of 8/30..
It's been almost a month now since the accident and we still have not made a settlement.. After dealing with the insurence compony trying to low ball me the whole time we finally made an agreement of 11k. But now, after waiting another week after the agreement they call back and change there mind and say they will not give us more than 10k for the car and that we have to pay for the rental car that THEY gave me. Ontop of that we have been paying $11 a day since the accident for insurence on the rental car. But thats not it, they are also trying to make us pay for the time that MY car has been sitting in the junkyard.. I seriously cannot believe any of this.

i had the same problem....if they say u gotta go to court to get more money..its just a scare tactic..that would cost them even more and they dont wanna do that..they want to and need to settle as fast as possible...just keep asking to talk to there superviser...eventually if u get high enough up the ladder somebody will have to give u what u want. my uncle works for state farm and he told me what to do..my car was stolen and i fought the insurance company for a month....i finally got them to give me back my car with 3500 bucks... ive got my car completly back together with better parts and istill have 2000 left.if u want it bad enough just bug them everyday all day long an they will give in.

Thats exactly what they said... they said that if i didnt want to pay for the rental to take either my own insurence compony to court (i have no clue what they have to do with it since it wasnt my fault) or take the kid that hit me to a small claims court and get it outa him. You should have no problem getting an attorney interested in this case. At 33% of the settlement of course so to get your 11K you'll need to be awarded around 15K.

Well the insurence company finaly settled for 11k and full payment of the rental.. I was told that the reason that the insurence co tried to withdraw the offer earlier from 11k to 10k was because the kid that hit me only had a maximum of 10k damage coverage that they were not aware with at first. Anyways, i had told the insurence co that i had called a commsioner and was gonna file a complaint with them. They called back the next day and said they would just settle with 11k and would pay for the rental.. The check is on its way. Now its just time to start looking for another SI...

bro you can find totally done up integras...swapped/jdm front/sik wheels/everything for 8-9k on honda-tech. Same with hatchies or anything else...swapped and almost done. If i was you id take that 11k and go car shopping on honda-tech. Theres some bad s**t for sale on there.
