Remember riding your bike without a helmet? I remember building ramps and trying to jump off as fast as i can.. no helmet needed.

If/ when i was bullied at school we either handled it in some secluded spot on school grounds or at the bus stop..

This cou try has gone to s**t indeed
My childhood. Ramps for dayzzz..

I remember my first set of pegs... But my skateboard stole my heart until my worst fall. One would think while rollerblading but a skateboard fall stays with you forever. I had a bruise from my pinky to my shoulder blade for weeks. Stupid Jnco pants!

Skateboarding was my life as a kid. All I wanted to be was a pro skateboarder. Broke 28 bones trying to chase that dream. Some multiple times.

It sounds like a lot but I'm counting all my fingers and toes so that bumps it up to 20 pretty quick.

That's still 28 more bones than I've broken. I had a skateboard once... got pissed and sold it because I couldn't ollie

I will never forget the time my buddy and I were racing bicycles, and as he was winning, his front wheel stopped dead in a pothole and he flipped over and faced it hard.

I won the race.

Reminds me of a funny story..

When I was a kid there was this stupidly steep hill in our neighborhood, and if you rode your bike down it you were a badass. We were little kids. Maybe like.. 7 or 8 years old.

So I tried it once and a car started backing out of their driveway. I grabbed the FRONT brake.

Commence flipping.

I only had my santa cruz skateboard for 2 years. I gave it to a Greek kid I was dating at the time since he collected them. I was more into my car and cruising at that time anyways. No time between work, college and cruising to fit in some hours at the park to skate.

I had a Santa Cruz for a little bit. It was a bit too wide for me but still a good board. Durable. I mostly skated blanks/ mini logo's. I went through boards crazy fast so it just didn't make sense to spend 50-60 bucks on a deck alone. Plus I was a kid, so it wasn't like I really had a choice.

SHOES is where the money really went

Yeah, I don't know if Photobucket was around yet back when I was skating and BMXing. Imageshack for sure wasn't.

* edit* Both were started in 2003. Nope, they weren't around yet.
