Gym done

Sending in the DUI report from Sunday is done

Just got back from dinner
Need to work on my core, belly is no bueno
Asked a server friend there about going to the beach this weekend, fingers crossed

But there was a daily driven S15 there tonight
And the guy who used to have the yellow Mugen'd S2000 finally got his HRE's in for the M3 and damn does it look sick. Fitment is on point

Tomorrow, calling a shop to see about a radiator because I hate driving the Civic in its place. I need my truck already.

One more day before dyno/tune... :party2:

Lovely fall weather we are having in SPRING! I have to take my christmas lights down from the front of the house today. I've procrastinated long enough.

Damn i build a nice fence

 You're hired!

I have an impromptu birthday party to attend in an hour for the demon spawn's bestie. I'm standing in Forever 21, drawing a blank on what to get this kid. It's so much easier to shop for the parents. A bottle of Patron or Belevedere and they love you forever!

I'll take the belvedere!

And that fence looks good Chris!

Alex, how do you need to work on your core but you go rock climbing? That s**t leaves my abs screaming!

The past couple weeks I haven't really been climbing. Either belaying for people or hitting the gym upstairs and lifting weights.

But when I do climb, I only really feel it in my forearms and hands, nowhere else.
Still have my belly a little bit so I've been meaning to do more cardio and ab work

From last nights S2000 dinner meet
Josh's M3 & S15 by Alex Maas, on Flickr

M3 is owned by the guy who used to have the Rio Mugen'd S2000. Finally just broke the car in after having for probably 4 months or so and received/mounted his 20" 3pc HRE's.

Oh, and a random daily-driven S15 owned by one of the guys.

Do you guys have any steep transitions at your gym? A lot of the terrain where I climb is so transitional that I HAVE to use my entire body. I'm talking like.. Hanging sideways and hooking a jug with my heel to physically jump in the air and hopefully catch a rock that's above me that I can't see yet and won't see until I've jumped. It's intense.

I'm not sure on what you would consider steep. I think there's a couple walls that have some challenging inclines, but mostly it's just the positioning of the rocks that are your biggest challenge.

This is the only photo I've taken there and only shows about 1/3-1/2 of the place, but I'll try to get more if I go tomorrow

Steep as in, you climb up and there's a roof where you have to reach up and behind you to grab what you can't see.

Look closely at where you start on the wall, and how it comes out. Pictures don't do it justice.

You go full monkey.

Oh, yeah on the left side of my pic but behind the wall, there's a part where you climb about 6ft up
Hope you're tall because there's a 90* angle that comes out and you use your hands (if 6ft +/-) to support you unless you cheat and use different color paths, then one leg over to the left at almost a full extension, then throw your weight and other foot to it. Then reach out blindly and grab a hook, then one hand up blindly to the other hook, pull up, and basically the same thing again. Then to the right, and around a pretty much blind pyramid transition, then up somehow etc etc. Have only successfully completed it once, but it wasn't a clean run, had to stop a couple times to recompose myself.

I'm so bad about not following the color paths. Mainly because I get bored after a while and just want to get to the top. I usually go with my brother and he wants to stay all damn day, every time

I didn't even know you're supposed to follow them.. I just climb on whatever seems like the best route.

I've only gone like 3-4 times. Ever.

Out of work in 20 minutes an then it's on to the first day in my golf league. Plenty of beer on deck ready to go.

The beer is why I never improve. We get to around the 5-6th hole and it's more of just swing and drink. It doesn't help that I play with the course owners' son, and being the last team out on the course for the night means etiquette is not at it's fullest. I <3 golf kart donuts and fishing in the ponds.

Left being the path for the most part
Right being how it extends out twice

Some days I'd love to stay when I'm in the groove, but lately I just haven't really cared much.
Probably doesn't help that it can get quite hot, quite quickly in there.
But being that the UM team practices here, being the only place in Miami, there's usually some nice eye candy here that helps with staying.

You noobs. Following the color path is what makes it difficult lol
Try that next time and see if you don't like being challenged

I haven't gone in years. Next time I go, I will probably just do the same thing. I'm in IT, so I think OSPF. Hah.

I follow the color paths for a little bit. But it can be extremely challenging and after a while I just want to have fun

And yes, the eye candy is amazing. Yoga pants/ tights for dayss.. Fit chicks at that.

That actually looks like a lot of fun! It's been on my things to do list since I was 18.

I have my first tee time of the season on the 11th of June playing at Sapphire National and at Grove Park Inn on the 15th. I gotta take advantage while I can before my husband's PGA benefits run out at the end of July. So not fair I have to play from the ladies tees... But my putting is terrible. :(

My friend was having a terrible day. Between trying to get the house cleaned, planning their family gathering for dinner, her daughter having a melt down and arguing with her husband. So after two hours of waiting around and trying to kill time at the mall buying the bestie gifts, her mother finally called me. I offered to make her day go a little bit smoother by taking the girls to Chuck E Cheese. We had a blast! I was busy winning them 600 tickets each while they roamed around and played.

Now that the demon spawn is in bed... I get to clean the bathroom, load the dishwasher, do some laundry and watch my crappy girly show.
