Pretty much. The bomb sniffing dogs didn't search us. Parked in the stadium, walked right past the players/locker rooms, through the rafters, in the media area, the news crew moved out of our way. Its weird having the much precedence.

So...

I've got a strange situation at work. Fire department pushed the hire date for successful applicants from the 14th to the 28th. For some reason my current job decided to go ahead and push my termination papers Friday, assuming I would get the job and start Monday (today). This puts me out of work for 2 weeks, assuming I get the job with the fire department. I talked with the plant manager and he offered me a spot working in shipping. This doesn't really work since it's a 9-5 schedule and puts more strain on my girl watching my mom since I'm her relief each day. Longer hours that my father can't afford to pay her for.


A friend reached out to me and offered to loan me the money to to cover the time lost, but I'm gonna try to find a way to make the money somehow.

So I've been slowly making progress on the xterra. It and the Mazda are both supposed to be getting shot for Street Trucks Magazine next month and I've still got a lot to do to the xterra to get it presentable. As if i need more stress in my life...

Went fishing this morning. I like this kayak.

Caught about six bream, around the same size as the one in the picture. It was still fun though. Had a good time.
