I'm looking for an older car, something fun to drive. My requirements are a manual transmission. Preference for t-tops and RWD. The cars already on my list: 2nd gen MR2, 2nd gen Supra, 300zx, 2nd gen RX7, Miata.
Edit: Price is ~$3,000.

Those were the cars that came to mind
.miata proly the most reliable. since they're everywhere. many more of them than the other choices u have.

well, third stage was an OVA. the other series were all tv series.
it wasn't dubbed then. japanese was the original language, therefore, not a dub. it's way better in japanese anyway. i love the voice actors they choice and they were so good at conveying emotion. i really dislike dubbed media. imagine watching a hollywood blockbuster featuring your favorite actor/actress, but hearing a s***ty dub instead of that person's voice.
go for an mr2, you will not regret it. i love driving my wife's zzw30 as it handles immensely better than my subie. i highly prefer the mk1 aw11 over the mk2 sw20, mostly due to the curb weight and weight distribution: 2094-2150 lb vs 2590-2734 lb and 45:55 vs 42:58, respectively. yes, the aw11, like the mk.3 zzw30, is under a ton.
mx-5s are a lot of fun to drive, very well balanced, have lots of aftermarket support, and a great community as well... an NA will definitely be my next car to buy (after getting a 2nd subie for bunny to drive in the winter)

I know, but the Miata is actually last on that list. I'd take one if I could find one that fit my criteria, but I'd rather find one of the others. MR2 is #1. I found one for pretty cheap, guy says it's road worthy, but leaks a little bit of oil. I'm CONSIDERING taking a look at it, and trying to find out what it would take to fix.....but I need something that I can daily drive, so I'm sketchy on that.
Anfrey!! I guessed that you would chime in and vote MR2. It's already at the top of my list. About a year ago, I took a 1st gen for a drive, and wasn't too thrilled with it. Granted, I didn't get to push it....but for the small difference in performance, I LOVE the styling of the 2nd gen.

T-top and RWD are preferences. Honestly, I'll need one or the other. I would take RWD without t-tops, and would take t-tops without RWD. That means I'd take a Del sol, but they're hard to find unmolested. I also think that the cars on my list would be MUCH more fun than a Del sol, which is another reason why it's not on there. 240 is in the same boat.Why not a 240?
I gotcha. I have a soft spot in my heart for S13s. That's where I started.
