is it for daily drivien, all out race. are you going to keep the motor basically stock. if so, b18c. if you are going to go deep into the engine, then b18c1 or ls/vtec

ok, I am trying to figure out which engine to put into my car. Yes, it will be a daily driver. Yes, I want to actually do internal work to the engine and not just leave it stock. No, I really don't want the H22A b/c of the obvious suspension problems that I would have to deal with, but who knows!

Forgot to mention this in the previous post... money is kind of an issue and how much work would it be to drop any/all of the engines into my car? I kinda want to do it myself just to save money, but i don't wanna get a hard installation engine and then phuck it up!

well you should have stated that you wanted this car to be your daily driver on your very first post, then you would have had a more accurate poll. anywho, id like to change my vote from h22a to b18c1

ok, why does everyone bring up the suspension problems when they hear h22a ... its only like 300 lbs heavier than a b18c1( i think) ... if you put some stiff ass integra suspension on there wouldnt your car handle fine cause it can now handle the added weight?

hondas are already front-heavy..... a b-series motor weighs about 300lbs..... add another ~100lbs (h22) and your car becomes VERY front-heavy........... cars like that understeer like a b***h and are incredibly difficult to turn quickly

B20/Vtec is the way to go.......

actually, a b20 w/ a b16 head works much better. but regardless, b20vtec is going to be the most expensive option, especially if you like to drive hard.
