snacks?

heres one i like to make once in a while..

ingredients:

pack of ritz crackers
smoked turkey(deli style)
*block of pepperjack cheese (its hard to find, simple swiss/cheddar/monterry will work as well)
sour cream spray on (can with spray)
extra extra virgin olive oil

anyways:

1. grap a pot or pan, pour in about 3 quarter size amount of olive oil
2. move around pot/pan so the oil spread evenly, and let simmer on medium heat
3. real quick, if you got the block of cheese, slice into 5 slices, about 1/2in'' thick
4. drop it in the pot/pan stirr constantly to mix flavors with oil and so it wont stick
5. grab out your smoked turkey and cut each slice in half (the ones i usualled get are about the size of your hand, and cut half of it into 2)
6. pull out 2 of your ritz crackers and your spray on sour cream
7. lay out the crackers side by side (like 2 circles touching)
8. spray a dime size of the sour cream on each cracker
9. lay your ham on top (recommend with the flat/sliced side towards top)
10. grab a spoon, stirr your cheese some more, and spread over the top of the ham (i usually spread the cheese over the whole ham, tastes better ;))
11. reach under each cracker, and fold together carefully (if done right, shouldnt be too messy!)

enjoy!

i make my famous chicken quesadillas when im up at school. im in a fraternity and we have a nice kitchen with a flat grill so it makes it easy.

basics:
10" flour tortilla
2 pieces chicken breast
shredded cheddar cheese

KEY INGREDIENTS THAT MAKE THE DILLA:
canadian chicken seasoning
ground cayenne pepper
black ground pepper
jamaican jerk OR cajun seasoning

the chicken i usually use is frozen so throw those on the grill first
cut up in small pieces, generally 1/2 x 1/2 pieces
season the chicken pieces (see KEY INGREDIENTS)
put the tortilla on the grill, let it get nice and hot (some people like to butter the tortilla before they put it on the grill to make it more crispy, i do not)
cover tortilla with cheese (i like to use alott)
when chicken is done, place it on half of the tortilla
fold it over
let it cook on both sides for a few minutes and let the cheeses and chicken bond together
done

idk i started making these when i was high one night and eveyrone started raving about them

enjoy

I'm new and I like to cook. Here's my contribution..

Ingredients:
1lbs lean hamburger
1 Red & Green Pepper
1 White Onion
1 Can of Black Beans or Frijoles Negros...lol
1 Chipotle Pepper (I use 2)
White or Brown Rice
Salt
Black Pepper
Chili Powder

Directions:
Dice up all the vegetables. I normally use half an onion and a whole red and green pepper. Brown the hamburger and drain depending on how lean it is and throw in all the vegetables. Depending on how hot you like it you can either throw in the chipotle peppers whole or dice them. Don't completely drain the black beans to add some juice to the mix. Turn heat to med low, cover, and stir on occassion. Simmer until the vegetables are cooked to your liking. Serve of White or Brown rice.

You can't use that figure. IT depends on way too many factors.

What I do, is push the steak about with my finger to feel how soft it is. It should be squishy but have still push back a little.
