Bought this one after Wilma as a flood car from the junkyard...drove it right out, no water in engine/tranny/diff so it's all good...minus rust

Talking to a guy that works there at the hobby shop (so need job there), probably trading my Si for an '82 El Camino he just got. Depending on the condition, might use it as a parts car and/or fix it up.



Got lucky, came across a guy online selling a stock S2 tire with same tread life as my others.
Had my parents pick it up on the way back to their place, so whenever I head up there, can have the car back on the road in a day, woot.

Is an 83 the boxy small one or is that a late 80's / early 90's?
Had to replace the brake hose between frame line and t-block, tried taking one off an older S-10 in the yard but didn't have the frame mount on it. Got lucky, had an '03 Silverado in the yard also awaiting a tow (what a waste) and let us grab the brake hose off of that. Little long, but hey, it works, what more could I want


I see there's 3 cars I would love to have up the keys.
64 Impala coupe, slammed, some kind of 20's
Nomad, slammed, flat blue with red steelies and fat whitewalls
Continental, smalled, white with black steelies and fat whitewalls
Also a 70's truck, slammed, blue, weird chrome wheels but somehow still looks good.

well..they are all boxy..but its the one that still uses the thick steel. mines a short bed single cab. i love it just wish i had the money to spend on it, but i got tired of the 9mpg highway and bought my civic.

my dream car is a turquoise/white 57 belair with a 502 and it wouldnt be a trailor queen but hell the rusted out shells are going for over 5 grand

yeah, but im afraid of messing up when im gaining experience. my brother is getting married soon, and so is a good friend of mine, ill be taking shots at those but thats still like 6 months from now

Maybe just ask friends/parents/etc if you can use them as practice or whatnot.
