I wouldn't say it's clean as f**k.. the blue all over the inside is a little weird. It ALMOST works, but I'm not quite in love with it.
theres too much going on in it. if it was cut back some, it might work.
yes i did it was a 98 4 door grand prix with a 3.8 (non supercharged) auto weighing in at well over 3000 pounds against my 90 civic hatch with a dohc zc. it was just a race in town from 0 to about 60-65.
and as far as mods all i have is a short ram intake
and people wonder why civics are hated.
ya i can understand that. i have been wondering were a track is. Does anyone know of one in central MN?

i get the fact that its my car, and yeah i'm gonna throw some money at it... i'm just wondering why a few people here dont think its worth doing... i mean this IS a civic forum... does no one respect the EF?

yes it is your car, and if you really wanna spend that money on it then go ahead. but this is also your chance to get out of a 20 year old civic and get into something newer and better.
In my opinion it is because Honda got a bad rap throughout the years. Older models are easy to find and cheap to buy. Many younger people who buy a Honda because of their popularity and proven reliability. Teenagers are for the most part STUPID and buy all the garbage parts, stickers and "accessories" they can afford from pepboys. I get tired of the bickering between domestic and import because no matter what you say the other guys car is better. Thats all you see on youtube and streetfire is "JDM suckz that torqueless little shitbox couldnt beat my Cavaqueer" and then "Your american made POS will probably break down halfway through the race!". GM got a really bad rap for their cars being unreliable in the 80s and 90s. Back then most domestic cars were junk. Funny I started a thread last year asking about why Honda owners all hate Cobalts and it got locked
I'm gonna have to say he's right. Modding a 20yr old car may not be the best choice.
Kind of with everyone else on this one. If you've got 10,000 that you've worked so hard for you might as well put it in the garbage disposal. You won't even get a third out of it when you get ready to sell it. This is the only reason I've had an STi and have an S2000 now. I make 7.50 an hour plus commission, which isn't much and I'm in school. The loan for my S2K is for 6,000 dollars. I had the opp to put a lot of money into my old civic and chose to buy a newer car (GST) paid cash for it. I sold it for more than I bought it for and put that towards an 04 STi that I financed for 15,000 (paid 22,500 for it), sold it and put the profit into my S2K. Where as most people are in debt because of their car, mine have been investments and it's been oh so fun on the way

alot of people love the EF but the resale will be way better if you build up a newer car.
It's exactly why I got out of the Import/Honda scene. It's supposed to be about the passion for modding and racing cars, but some people can't grasp that concept. Plus Honda's are cheap which means ANYONE can afford one.
are you sure the other guy knew you were racing? my tahoe is close to 6000 pounds and ill run circles around a stock zc
