Today's first choice brew...

Samuel Adam's Noble Pils
http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/35/54904
http://www.samueladams.com/Promotions/Beerloverschoice2009/home.html
Seasonal beer. Hit shelves mid-January. Tavern in the Keystone Village of Colorado was promoting it, unfortunately I had left my wallet in the truck, so I was forced to go without it until tonight ;).

Poured from a 12oz bottle to a chilled pint glass.
Very transparent, easy pour, little head. Not much of an aroma, although a very hoppy taste. Goes down super easy and finishes well, I want another, lol. Their claim is that it's brewed with the 5 "noble" hops (4 from Germany and 1 from the Czech Republic). I've personally tried quite an array of Sam Adam's various recipes, and I feel comfortable saying this one is my favorite. I'm definitely a fan of hopped and spiced beers. Give it a try if you see it on the shelves (which you should).

When I'm at back home I'll drink:

I drink Bud Light whenever I'm at the pub
then I move onto irish car bombs later in the night
and then before I leave I'll take a shot of Cuervo for good measure

When I'm here at school:
Lately I've been drinking Hook and Ladder Golden Ale at the bar cause its cheap. Price here are outrageous, its like $3.50 for BL and I paid for around of Sam Adams Winter Lager last weekend and it came to $30 for five f**kin drinks!

hmm... yea, I've been wondering about the noble pils. I'm a fan of the winter lager that's out now too. I was afraid the noble pils would be watered down, I have yet to find a good full flavored pilsner.

I've been drinking Abita's Strawberry Harvest Lager and Fraoch Heather Ale. First time having both. Neither are going to be new favorites of mine, but neither are bad beers either. The Harvest just isn't flavorful enough, and the Heather Ale has sort of a strange aftertaste.

I would say go for the Noble Pils. I've tried a lot of Sam Adam's, but rarely drink them twice. This one, I would buy again. But like I said above, I'm one for the IPA's and hoppy beers.

Then I'm assuming that this beer probably isn't lacking in flavor. IPAs are a bit too bitter for me. I'll have to give the pils a shot.

It tastes like a blueberry muffin. It's really really good.
For me, it tasted like regular beer, but the aftertaste, you definitely had a hint of Blueberry that was really good.

Second brew of the night:

New Belgium's Mighty Arrow Pale Ale
http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/192/40418
http://www.newbelgium.com/beer/mighty-arrow

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a nice bronze golden transparent color. Decent head, doesn't linger for very long. Smells of hops and sweetness, almost a dark malt. Taste is not like I expected. A deep taste, similar to Fat Tire, also brewed by New Belgium, just slightly more hoppy. Very drinkable. Lacing on the glass is nice, not excessive. Beer is just begging to be drank, so I'm going to finish it :D.

Lacking in flavor? Not at all. Not really bitter either IMO
