If I could afford a $72,000 dollar car, I surely wouldn't 'open it up' anywhere that wasn't a track, because quite frankly, I don't think I would like to piss away that much money. its reasons like this story that kids should not be getting supercars. no matter how much money i have i would not give my kid a car like an m5 for his first car thats just one of the stupidest things. the way i see it all kids learn the hard way when they're a new driver, and it takes some time to become a mature driver. i started out with my civic and i still got speeding tickets for it. i learned the hard way that speeding tickets just aren't worth it. sure this kid def learned the hard way but except with a car thats 10x faster lolThe very stupid parents who produced the very stupid 19 year old. I was coming home from NY yesterday, merging onto the NJ turnpike. I was right behind a nice Dodge Ram SRT10, f**king nice ass truck with a V10 in it. A V10. He could have accelerated up to 120 to merge before I could get up to 70....but you know what? He didnt. He accelerated and merged the same speed I did. Its only teenage punks like you who think just because your car is CAPABLE of something, means you use it on public roads. Just like everyone else on here is saying, yiou will learn the hard way.
Oh and before I picked up my Civic, I didnt have a car. So my dad was letting me drive his Corvette for about 4 months. Not once did I floor it, not once did I push the pedal past 1/3 throttle, not once did I go more than 5mph over the speed limit. My dad even joked around with me, calling me a pussy for how I drove his car. He was expecting me to drive like a jackass all over town just because Im in a Corvette. The moral of the story is that people dont speed because they have a fast car, there are plenty of people who drive piece of s**t cars but still speed, and there are plenty of people with nice fast cars who DONT speed. The people who speed are punks like you who think they are above the law, and should be able to do whatever their tools are capable of doing.

yea, alot of us speed, but in moderation, and with some sort of common sense. the point is we have the common sense to NOT do it in a residential area. he was going 86.9 mph in a 25. thats almost 3.5 times the speed limit! thats insane! theres reasons why different roads have different posted speed limits.
