Are you talking about on top of the valve cover? If so, it's supossed to be unplugged.. I didn't think so eaither but it is. It looks weird, but leave it alone. No little filter or anything.

Take that screw out. Leave it open. You might have to get a new missing link because from what I remember the hole is very very small and now it's too big

Also if you have a small filter coming off the nipple of the valve cover. Take it off. It'll hurt your boost

Nothing will get sucked in. I believe it pushes air out when idling and does nothing when revved

the hole in the missing link is to vent boost pressure so the map sensor dosent read it.

so if the hole is plugged would it affect performance or affect anything in general?
would this be one of the causes why i have a stall when i go from vacuum to boost(considering my turbo not spooling yet)cuz when i daily drive my car and i need to accelerate to catch up with traffic if i push on the gas pedal (not in spool range yet) from vacuum-boost it kinda stall.or this is normal for boosted cars?

Your map sensor is reading too much air since the hole is plugged. Probably running very lean. Check your plugs for white tips
