...Well I got a little progress done today. A little bit a day keeps it from piling up at the end. I scuffed the vents and cleaned and tacked them during my breaks and at the end of lunch. But at the end of the day I had it ready and sprayed it. Here's a quick pic. It hadn't dried fully but I love a good flat black.
keep it comin.Well I finally got my doors blocked and sanded and masked(all 3 of them). I am extremely happy that I've finished blocking those things. They are really straight and it took a little while to get them there but they weren't always on the front burner. They were just so demoralizing sitting around undone. And now all I have to do is scuff the edges and mask the back off and hang them. Then I can hang them and spray them when I spray the car.

I can't wait to get it all painted. I'll be happy when I'm buffing it and finish that and start with the assembly.
i was hoping for pics of the chassis painted... doors look good tho!

Usually 3M. There is another brand we get from time to time but I can't remember it's name.

Well It would be nice to see yours also. I like seeing quality builds instead of thrown together crap.
Also I got my tracking number for my J's racing GT wing. And since I have to look at the stock wing I decided to buy a JDM SiR 1 piece wing since it looks better than the 2 piece one. Both should be here really soon. Maybe I can get you guys some pics soon.

first off paint in the pic looks flawless, and fake lol.
secondly as far as masks go, if you want high protection factors look for ones that use a p100 filter, the 3m is really nice soft silicone but the filters are the most expensive. i use a north brand, a bit less comfy but cheaper in the long run. (i wear a mask every day for work so if you ever have questions regarding these things ask away)/thread back
