congrats man! Post up a build thread for it on here lolI ordered a computer.. and am insanely excited! I can't remember the last time I was this anxious to get a new "toy". As long as it all works when it gets here, it's worth every penny. sooo awesome.
LOL so much for taking your time to research and build one later this year...?I ordered a computer.. and am insanely excited! I can't remember the last time I was this anxious to get a new "toy". As long as it all works when it gets here, it's worth every penny. sooo awesome.
I couldn't.. I just couldn't. lol. I started researching and got more and more and more into it... Had to order.. and then I justified it by saying it's my present to myself for getting my Master's degree, and some rebates were about to expire, so how I could possibly wait any longer?LOL so much for taking your time to research and build one later this year...?
At least post some specs!
Not bad at all. You should be pretty well satisfied with it. I have the same mobo and like it a lot. The GUI BIOS has a ton of settings for overclocking just about everything. You can even use presets built in for 1-click overclocking beyond 5GHz. I set my 2500K at 4.4GHz and just fine tuned everything else for stability, and then forced tighter timings on the memory also in the BIOS. So how much did it all run you after rebates, if you don't mind me asking?I couldn't.. I just couldn't. lol. I started researching and got more and more and more into it... Had to order.. and then I justified it by saying it's my present to myself for getting my Master's degree, and some rebates were about to expire, so how I could possibly wait any longer?

You will definitely want a controller for Dirt 3. Trying to play with a keyboard is possibly one of the most rage-inducing things ever.Approximately $1700, including 2 games (Rage and Dirt 3)
True statement. I have a lot of driving simulators and games, and the best investment was a logitech G25 wheel. Before that I had a logitech driving force pro (purchased for a playstation 2 with gran turismo), which worked great on the PC too. I think I still have it stuffed in the back of a closet somewhereYou will definitely want a controller for Dirt 3. Nice wire tuckSweet setup.
