My real RHD eg6 build

Well here's what I got accomplished today. When I was building the engine I guess I installed the front main seal incorrectly. I've built a lot of B series engines and I've never had this problem before but I'm happy that the problem was as obvious as it was. Everyone loves a smoking gun when troubleshooting. I had an extra front main seal from an old build so I just took it all apart and put it in. I snapped a couple of pics.

And I also took my wheels and tires up to a local tire store to get them mounted and balanced. They did a good job since my buddy works up there. They were well lubed and didn't have any marks or scratches on them.
I installed the improved wheels and took it for a stroll around the airport.

Well it's only a semi tucked bay. I may even get a factory windshield washer tank.
And as far as the valve cover goes it won't be sporting the rising sun one for long. It will be J's all the way.

Ok pics. I buffed and installed my Mugen side skirts. It was really sketchy at first. I was installing them and I had labeled the mounting brackets when I took them apart. But the clips didn't line up at all. my heart sank as I thought I'd have to cut out squares where they'd have to mount. Turns out they didn't have the right mounting areas on them when I got them. So I switched them and they went on just like factory. I also installed my "dohc vtec" emblems that go on the side.

Well tomorrow is the big day. I'll buff and install my bumper after I put in my inner fenders.
God this things coming out nice. Hopefully well get together for a shoot or something when my car is done!

It's the factory location. It's not unique. Factory to the Sir-s eg6.
Well today I didn't put on my bumper, but I did clean my seats and install the Recaro's. They make the interior look so much better than the factory seats. They ride a little lower too. I am pleased to say the least.
