I fixed it. Shifter is solid as a rock.

Rusted bolts so I had to use a grinder

Here's how it looks

Well there ain't going to be updates for a while guys. I'm going threw a lot right now. My relationship with my girlfriend and fiancé of over three years it coming to a end. The shifter was my Christmas gift to myself. The next aftermarket part I buy will be the ASR subframe. I also still need to get two new tire to replace my bald ones in the rear. And I also need to replace my front wheel bearings, ball joints and maybe tie rods, I need new rotors and ill get new pads while I'm at it even though mines are pretty thick but I don't like replacing one without the other. But I want to do this before I put on the suspension. So that will most likely be the next thing I do to the car. The shifter is great I just have to get use to it. Missed third gear a few time but I know my third is my worst gear. But hopefully thing will look better in the summer and I can get a swap. Till then ill be just doing small things over the next month or so and following all of your builds for inspiration and motivation.

Yea we decided we are going to split up. We are young and she is younger then me 19 I'm 21. She's a freshmen in college and she wants to be able to just live her life. I can respect that. We are still cool and will hang out after this sadness blows over. I'm okay though. I know I gave the pass three years my all. Just not our time I guess but if its meant to be I'll cross paths with her again in the future. I'll always be here if she needs me.

Not really a update but I got a new filter.

My buddy has a DC Sports intake he might give to me to replace this cheap one. But I can't complain it was free.

Going to pick this up tomorrow. I just want to be done with my suspension so I can start saving for a swap. It's brand new never installed still in the box. Guy wants $180 for it so I'm just saving myself the time it would take to be shipped if I ordered it online. I have to drive a hour one way to go get it. I'm not really saving on shipping because of the gas I'll be using but hey one more thing off the purchase list.

Thanks man this I the last thing I need before I throw all this stuff on. Going to be a lot of work. I'm going to get a sway bar soon. I still haven't decided if I want a Type R sway bar or ASR.

To have it shipped it cost around $200 out the door so I'm saving myself like $10 when I add gas cost and I don't have to wait for it in the mail. By the way does anyone know how long a bolt I would need to fit my Benen tie bar to this? JHPUSA makes a bolt kit for tie bar uses but I'm not paying $20 plus shipping for two bolts. I'm just gonna go to Lowes and get some grade 8 bolts.

I don't know the exact length, but it's like an inch longer than the OEM bolts. I doubt you're getting the old asr brace, but the first version can use stock bolts, the revised design needs the long ones

It's brand new and in excellent condition. I'm pretty much done for the time being. Now I can save and just focus on maintenance till I have funds for performance upgrades. Might start looking into getting some kinda of lip. But idk what I want. I've been looking at spoon lips but idk if I want something that nice this early in my build I feel as if it would be out of place on my car right now. Might just get a SiR lip for the time being.

Id start small. The SiR is study and simple and really makes the car look a lot better without being obnoxious
