My car burns alot of oil. I'm assuming that's the issue but that's why I'm saving for a swap so I can do away with the single cam. I have been thinking of buying a bare block and building it from the ground up so I can get some experience with building motors. I seen a few bseries blocks for sale. But I don't know the cost of starting a built from scratch. I'm assuming it isn't cheap.
I have my b18b1 still sitting all wrapped in a box. Completely disassembled and LOTS AND LOTS of fresh OEM honda parts which include...
Valve seals
Piston rings
Bearings all new
Water pump
Timing belt
Timing tensioner
Valve cover gasket kit
Oil pan gasket
Several main seals and gaskets
Ill gladly sell it and ship it all. Ill pay half shipping quote.
Also have rear t bracket, EM1 shift linkage and new energy suspension bushings, only thing the bloxk needs is a hone and assembled with a new head gasket!
PM for more details

Edit:also have ecu p75a (0bd2a) and msd ignition wires and im sure im still missing things

Yea I might just look for a short block and start from there. Would buying a block with a spun bearing for cheap be a bad idea?
I'd say no it's not. A spun bearing is usually just someone not putting oil in it. Replace the bearings and typically you're good but. Someone who didn't put oil in the car could've caused more damage then a bearing.

^ thats what he meant when he said it could have caused irreperable damage, because you never know what else is messed up or what the spun bearing did when it messed up. Almost anything can be fixed, but theres a chance it wont be worth the money or time if there's more damage done to it then you think.

Did you recently change gas stations? Should always use the same gas station...ignition coil? Check your timing.

No I stick to the same gas stations. I just changed the cap&rotor so far so good. No cel. But if it comes back on ill change the wires. I have a warranty on them.

first thing you need to do is check if the misfire is from lack of fuel or spark

from there i can help you. i just did all of the test for both situations since my car was whooping my ass

Well right now I'm just changing things a know my car can use. But I do need to check my injectors but honestly I don't know how to other then unplugging them while the car is running to see if I notice a change in how the car is running.

bingo, if it doesnt effect it then you found the dead cylinder. checking for spark is easy too. you probably dont have an inline tester so the backyard method is to put it at a ground like a vc bolt. if you got spark then you dont have fuel.

from there i know the test for fuel and spark

Came with end links and bolts. All for $60. What a steal. The rear disk are from a 91 Integra will they fit? He is giving me new trailer arm bushing if I buy them. All I would need is rotors,pads,E-brake cables and probably some stainless brake lines. And would I need a 40 prop valve? My car is a ex so idk if I have one already.
