Thanks for the info man.Nice deal on the sway bar. Don't take my word for it, but I'm pretty sure all Integras except the Type-R have the same rear trailing arms. Your car does not have a 40/40 prop valve.
Sure thing man. Thanks for the info man.
I have a asr subframe brace. But I just notice I need to get a longer bolt for the end links due to the function 7 lca's being thicker then most aftermarket lca's. I'll grab some longer ones this weekend.Sure thing man.
That bar and hardware look like high quality stuff. Are you looking into a subframe brace for it as well?
http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=1513752Pass on the rear disk they have to be 94-01 teg or 92-95 eg or em1 and the prop valve can be found in any 96-00 hatch. Same part number as the em1
Thanks now I gotta save so I can get a new engine.Lookin good!
Yeah, I looked it up and it looks like the trailing arm is slightly different. But like you said, you could just pull the brake assembly off and bolt it to your trailing arm.http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=1513752
This says I can still use them but its just a few extra steps. I would just swap the whole brake assembly and use my stock trailer arm.
One of my friends has an EM1 with F&F coilovers. He removed his rear 24mm ASR bar because he said it was terrible to drive, specifically on the highway. He said he was constantly fighting the wheel and the back always wanted to come around on him. That said, he has a k-swap so he is running a eg subframe with either a smaller than 22mm front bar or none at all. I think you should do all the suspension work except the ASR bar and get used to driving it. Then I would install the bar and see how you like it. You can read and talk to people all you want, but its best to feel it yourself and form your own opinions.Ok so I have been doing some research on spring rates and sway bar size. The F&F type ones are 10k/6k (F/R). The ASR sway bar is 24mm and the 96-00 EX has a 22mm front sway bar from factory. I started worrying about my cars rear end being happy all the time with this combo. But I think I'll be fine. I do want to get on the track this summer if I get the chance just to test the waters a bit. My only issue is the coilovers are not made for track use. But they are a decent all around coilover which is why I got them. But I'm thinking of holding off on the sway bar install until I get use to how the car will handle once its dropped. The last thing I want is to lose control of my car because I don't know how it will react in a situation. If anyone else has any insight or personal experience with in this area please do give input. Over all I just want to have a well balance DD/weekend warrior. I am not putting this setup together to make a track car I just want a nice solid firm suspension for now.
