It's a bit harder to damage forged parts versus cast. I do see the overall point though, but then that just triggers the thoughts of high quality low priced wheels, for instance, Enkei. They manufacture a s*** load of oem wheels so they are pretty damn tough and easy on the wallet. ;)
Oh yeah, I've followed your threads like the bible. I saw the enkeis in there but right now a set runs around 800$. Save for 2 sets and I can get some cr01's. go to ebay and get replicas 450$ shipped :p...
Which is a real possibility, while I spend time getting this thing reliable again, I at least want some visual change, coming by cash for sweet mods is hard when I'm covered up in bills and always fixing something. I think the cheap wheels and rear/front sway, and the rest of my bushings is what I will be doing for now. When I can work more and the cash flow increases I'm going to just sit on all my cash for a while...
Thanks child! Your input is always appreciated.

Anyways! Got something in the mail today! Can't wait to get home and open it!

I got my front ex sway bar today! I'm in the basement right now priming it, when I got home I ripped the box open and took it outside to remove the beaten brackets and endlinks off it, and scrubbed it down with simple green, 3m pads and detergent and water. I'll have pics up once its painted, problably 2mrw. :rolf:

Okay I have both swaybars now! Got the rear one Wednesday, and my universal d brackets and bushings, the rear one was in pretty good shape so I just wiped it down, I repainted the "d" brackets black the same duplicolor primer and paint used on the front bar. Need to order my new rear lca's and endlinks and the suspension overhaul is a go!!

Looks good man. Be careful with heim endlinks. They can dry out easily if you daily drive with them through bad conditions.

Ive never heard any bad about heims.

But my industry does use them a lot but we dont daily drive our trucks most of the time.

I know that race teams use heim joints cuz they dont bind as easily.

Kool, good to know. I placed an order for the hardrace links though, And my new lca's from jhpusa. I figured with less moving parts and the boots on the hardrace for protection against contaminants it would be a good call. I'm using a 22mm front and 13mm rear bar, just for spirited daily driving, if I were using a more aggressive set up, then I could get away with beefier endlinks I would suppose, thanks Chris!

It's just that they are more open to the elements than standard endlinks. I guess you don't get much road salt in NC though. You'll probably be fine.
