Sweet, new parts already!!!

And yeah, apexi skyrocketed the price once quiet exhausts became popular and necessary for some areas. It used to be under 400 a few years ago

wow, $200 is CHEAP for the WS2. I'd already bought my Greddy before I found out about the APex WS2. And after reading who you bought the car from, I can understand why you flew down to purchase it. Good luck with this new project

Last update for Hendo-land today:

Remember this Jeep?

Well, it did THIS to me on the freeway at 70mph:

This is a detonated transfer case. Apparently the frame has rusted so badly that the car has sagged in the middle, causing the front driveshaft knuckle to bind and eat the rebuilt transfer case I had installed last year. So out with that.

And then:

It's a 2010 with 20k miles on it, auto, 3 piece top, keyless/alarm, nav.. it's pretty damn sweet and still under factory warranty for another 11 months. Paid $9000 less for it than a similarly optioned new one (27k vs 36k). Rock rails are in perfect shape, I doubt it's ever been taken off road. That will shortly be remedied.

And the hatch still isn't painted

Looks good so far man
Thanks!

Not a fan of Jeeps...

The hatch is looking super fresh now though
They're about as opposite ends of the car spectrum as two vehicles can be, no surprise there's not much love around here lol

And thanks!

Damn..
How do you get all this money!? xd
I work, like everybody else. Seriously, the body work and paint is being done by my buddies dad. It's all about the hookup, even when the hookup keeps you waiting for several extra months. Gonna be worth it tho.

Thanks! I like the CRX too, I just have to limit my collection and in the end, I like the option of the back seat. And it will be a sweet 91 Civic when I'm done :D

Couple more pics from Rico:

He says it should be finished up in the next couple of weeks, I'm ordering up new seat belts and some bumper covers. My front one got gooned in a parking lot, and Rico says the back bumper just won't look good next to all the other new parts back there (hatch, filler, tails etc). Gotta get some license plate lights and new emblems for the same reason, apparently. This is going to be insanity. :D

And now new seatbelts ($400), front and rear bumper covers and some support stuffz ($700), freight for all that crap ($200), new emblems everywhere ($50) and new license plate light assemblies ($50) all on the way. And this SHOULD be the final batch of parts. Should, says Rico. Of course I've gotta replace the s**t ebay exhaust too. I really hope my wife doesn't divorce me lol
