damn that sucks but knowing you this is cake work.....lol
Haha I hope so! All the other stuff was just remove and replace, I hope I don't strip the thread nut in the body when I remove them, I should be able to get it out with a torch, but I'll wait till I have the replacement arms. I'm ordering them today so they should be here by Friday hopefully, and I can resume work this weekend.

Damn thats no good.
No sir.. Like I said, I'm worried I may mess it up so I'm holding off and soaking it every day untill my parts get here.
Dang I'll never run out of reasons to throw money at this car.

Oh yeah, any reason to get like hardrace adjustable toe arms? Or should I just stick with ordering the. From majestic all new oem? I feel like all new oem is the correct answer..

OEM is fine. Don't forget how old your car actually is. You don't really hear about aftermarket parts lasting that long and through abuse

That's what I was thinking, thank you fellas for the words of wisdom. I will order new oem.

Also, I was able to torque the bolt back down, and the bracket went back to its original shape. I don't drive the car it sits in the drive way with a Walmart cover untill I have everything squared away, and take it for the alignment.

Apparently I have a big pile of new crap waiting for me when I get home...

Wonder what it could be...:rolf:

Well it was quite a pile indeed, my new wheels and tires, and toe arms arrived! :rolf:

I ordered Yokohama S drives, 205/5015, these things are so sticky! Deffinately the nicest tires I've ever had!

These tires are FAT! I love it, the tread is so aggressive, they are a lot wider than the 195's I got last summer

Here are the toe compensating arms brand new from majestic honda, with all mounting hardware, my factory ones have had it, the bushings are completely gone.

Here are my new wheels for this summer, chikara rs5, a replica of the work cr01. I've wanted a set ever since I saw them on the red hatch from osaka jdm featured in the honda issue of superstreet

I took my time I boxing them, they were packed really well

The new blaaanngg!!

I also think I may have received these by mistake, but I got like 50 extra center caps and logos, along with replacement fake wheel face rivets, which is a plus!

I know they aren't baller authentic wheels, but for the price I'm more than satisfied, I can't wait to get them on! I'm taking them to have the tires mounted and balanced this Saturday, then, Next weekend my friend from the local import club, Wilkesboro Crew, is going to help me roll the fenders and fit them with his rolling tool, he's got plenty of experience and done it many times, so I'm sure it will turn out excellent! That's all for now, my lug nuts are still in transit and I will have pics of them also when they arrive, hopefully tomorrow.
Thanks for following! :rolf:

Thanks bro! That's awesome, I'm gonna clay bar and re wax my car again after I get the wheels fitted, I'd love to get some good photos of my car this spring. I don't know anyone though off hand.

Yeah the lip is 3" stepped, it looks really deep with tires mounted, I'm so happy with them.

I know right! Lol, I would have gotten a tie bar, but the asr brace doubles as a tie bar, plus the roads aren't great where I live and that would hurt ground clearance.

If you can hit a benen or carbing tie bar on the ground, then you've just bottomed out your entire car. The beaks bar is another story.
As for extra bars, a ctr has a factory reinforced subframe and also a tie bar. Most people won't corner hard enough to bust a subframe brace, but increased righty is just that. It's like having a tower bar and switching it for one a bit thicker. It makes a difference, the amount of difference or usefulness of the difference is what's debatable.

Having some troubles with this actually. Back in the day "before" I was low my girlfriend heard me say I wanted a Beaks tie bar. Well this led to her remembering and getting me one for christmas. lets just say if a pinecone doesn't get hit under my car somewhere the tie bar will get it for sure. Haven't touched ground yet but it seems dangerously low. And how do you tell her no, return it.. this takes a cold heart so I am putting it to use until I upgrade.

^ oh yeah I would run one if its free, but nc roads are full of dips and pot holes completely uneven, what one wheel hits the other may miss, the ground clearance in question isn't from going low, its from daily driving on mountain roads, my sub frame and exhaust have a few scratches in them already, nothing major. I just didn't want to spend money on a nice peice of equipment and then beat it up.

So I drank last night for the first time in months with my buds, woke up this morning at 8, threw up, showered, and went with my friend who drives the s2k to his hook up on mounting and balancing.

Here's the the pic when I got them home, I forgot to take them while installing.

Lugs on in route, should be here today anytime! More pics coming up, I think we are going to roll the fenders 2mrw and fit them, so more updates to come!

Thank you for following =)
