    D16Y7 to obd1 help

I would recommend getting an y8 manifold. From what I've heard, you gain more power from a y8 mani swap than you do adding on a cold air intake. You don't get much from an intake anyways, but, if you're going to turbo, might as well let it breath better.

Nice! How did you guys do. And what does the "cost" scoring mean? Looking at the results, my alma matter (RIT) got 36th place there... cost score for everyone is like 60-70 points, but, RIT got -9? lol

    Project HX: Efficient Style

Looks great! How are you liking the JL? I love mine even though it's an older W3, it still hits pretty good! Did you dynamat? I never did and my Civic used to rattle like crazy.

    My 2000 EX

Man you are totally rescuing this thing, haha! I wonder if you can drill into the sensor and use an easy out set to get it out. I'd also shoot the previous owner a text and tell him to never work on cars again

    Transmission help

Yeah, sounds like you need a new axle seal. If it's totally gone there's going to be play. It's also possible that the seal is pressed too far in, or the axle isn't fully in the transmission (though you'd likely feel and notice that).

    Exhaust manifold replacement.

Hmm, take a look at this thread: http://www.civicforums.com/forums/36-mechanical-problems-vehicle-issues-fix-forum/312813-error-code-p0497-evap-system-low-purge-flow.html Mentions something about calibrating the ECM. But, how did you clean the PCV valve? It would be best to replace it rather...

:welcome: Hell of a first post man. Looks like you're saving this thing and it's coming along nicely! Sucks getting into a car without knowing the whole history and discovering a bunch of things, but it sounds like you know what you're doing. Any plans to change the motor out? You should be...

    OBD issue: 99 El w/ B16a2

I mean, a B16a2 from the US/Canada is already ODB2. You should be able to get away with a P2T. You have an USDM Si motor. For Canada, that's the same motor as the SiR's. P30 won't work because that's ODB1. It *must* be ODB2 for it to work.

Looks good! Just make sure the turbo seals are in good condition and that it has minimal shaft play. And don't forget a good tune! Any idea what you're going to tune the car on?
