Are P and D lights on the dashboard considered emissions warning lights though? According to Indiana's BMV it does require the MIL to be off, but says nothing about any other lights on the dash. That being said, the MIL was not on when I had the auto P2E ECU with the manual transmission...

I'd be careful with that kit. eBay turbo's are notorious for leaky seals and could cause other issues as well. At least it came with an iron cast manifold though. You still need bigger fuel injectors, and probably a better fuel pump as well. You should be able to do most of this yourself as...

You don't need it, but it's better to have. WIth the auto ECU it will have nooo clue what the f*** is going on, so on the dash both P and D will flash, unless you change that out as well. Car will still run properly though. After we did the auto to manual swap on my car, I rocked the same...

I'm sure it IS possible though. Clogged fuel line could cause the motor to lean out and detonate I suppose. It could definitely ruin a diesel engine though...
