why cant we all just get along. he is asking about the motor not opinions on the exterior. yes your car is not like everyone elses on here, but its what you like so more power to you. riced out civics may be a dime a dozen, but so are the "clean JDM" civics. there is only so much aftermarket for these cars. you are never going to have something completely unique.

Anyways... go boost, keep your mpg's down compared to all motor, and you get the cool noise.

dark creep why does my car need serious work please let me know? not being a smart ass just wanna know

Thanks ej6civic let me know of anything else
Your car is ugly. Im sorry I couldnt find a nicer way of putting it.

You have unnecessary orange s**t you call loom in the engine bay, your head lights are ugly, the stickers on the side are tacky, your black eye lids dont flow, your valve cover needs to be repainted, you have M3 style fenders on a Civic, and your tint needs to be re-done.

I DO give you props for the B series swap, 4-1 header, and Skunk2 intake manifold. Thats pretty sweet, I bet that made that car hella fun to drive and it probably has some nice high end power.

A lot of people may tell me that every car today is "JDM" and what not, but you wanna know why? Because it looks nice and not over done. Heres a clean ass orange EK.

Well your car is definitely faster than most cars here, but Id work on getting that exterior de-riced out a bit. Its too "attention-whore"ish.

Clean up that bay, order some VHT red or black wrinkle paint from eBay and go to town on that valve cover.

BTW, thats not my car, I drive a red 99 hatch.

The color is fine, the OEM spoiler is fine. Its not too ricey, but its rice enough.

You asked for it, so ill tell you. If that was my car;
-Remove ALL stickers
-Remove loom
-Smaller rims
-OEM head lights
-Re-do the tint
-Paint the valve cover
-Strip and polish the 4-1 header.
-OEM style fenders w/ side markers
-Si/GSR front strut bar and burn DC one.
-CTR Style front grill
-CTR style front lip
-Lower it more
And last but not least, call that guy up with the Cavalier and tell him never to call or talk to me again.

alright one quick question though i have heard people say when you put a turbo in a car the car doesn't last as long, does that just happen if you beat the s**t out of it or what like i said i dont know if its true or not

They are partially true, but they are probably speaking out of their ass and dont know s**t.

Turbos can decrease the life of the engine due to the stress being placed on them, but if you build your motor correctly and dont take any short cuts, the car should last long enough. Any motor can blow from revving and stress, but just make sure its maintained and well taken care of.

Youre new to the Honda scene, so if I were you, id read and participate in the forced induction sub forums and try to learn as much as you can because boosting is really expensive, and it takes skill. Plus, B16s aren't the motor of choice wen it comes to boost due to their high compression ratio.

If you want to make your car faster; get stage 1/2 clutch, smaller rims, sticky tires, motor mount inserts, and new suspension.

dont listen to DarkCreep. if you follow his advice your car will end up like every other 'jdm' civic on here. just do what you want to it. the only thing i would recommend is different rims

Such a n00bish response. I was NOT aiming for the JDM look when I was giving him advice on how to build his car. Even if he did "JDM" out his car, it would look much cleaner than it does now.

Give him some advice.;)

don't knock the man for his wire loom. It's no different than going gaga over some reservoir socks and fender washers.

I will say, your car isn't my taste.

To make it go faster, boost is probably your best option for bang for your buck. However, try playing with some engine management and the right bolt-ons and it can make you happy.
