Have no clue what brand that flywheel is. Something from Japan man, Unless the owner in Japan was into USDM, lol. Looks like a Fidanza. You should re-surface it man

Haha yeah I have no clue what kind it is, but I can tell it is high-quality. Way ahead of you, I'm dropping it off at a local machine shop tomorrow. =)

Got my flywheel back from the machine shop. Great customer service. I dropped it off yesterday at 4 pm and they called me this morning at 9 am to say it was ready to be picked up.

Oh haha I didn't realize it was that fast of a job. They charged $40 bucks. I don't know how competitive that is, but it was reasonable for me, especially since I got a great deal on the flywheel in the first place.

yeah it doesnt take long. you just use a lathe on it to fix the runout and make it smooth again. its the same process for rotors and drums. i guess thats not a bad price then if you dont know what you are doing or anything. im not sure what a shop rate for something like that would be, i do it all myself lol

I'm in Carlisle. If you're talking about my swap, I can do that myself. It's just stuff like machining and rebuilding transmissions that I don't have the balls or tools to do haha.

Do you know Derek Finkenbinder by chance? We'll see about the trans. The only reason I would have it rebuilt is if I put in an LS 5th. If I'm going to have it rebuilt though, I will definitely talk to you first.

No he's just graduated with Finkenbinder and they're pretty good friends. Anyway, he has a pretty sick setup; EBP EM1, K20 from a Type-S, K-Pro, dark gray Work CR KAI's, and slammed on Function & Forms. He is a certified mechanic at the local Honda dealer and he said he'd help if I had any problems with my swap.
