My point here though is that as a female particuarlly, we have trouble going to dealerships and such because some of the shadier men expect that we don't know ANYTHING about cars. And therefore they will try to screw you out of as much as they can. This is why it's recommended to bring a male with you if you're female, even if you can hold your own. Harsh reality.

It's not about debating someone's wording. It's about battling misinformation. If someone says somethign that's WRONG, then that should be corrected.
