JE and SRP are the same pistons. Mainly though cause I got the pistons and rods BNIB for $465 shipped.
B&M afpr came today got it installed. Snagged a set of 720cc inj from a buddy today.
Head is on and trq'ed down. Post pics tomorrow. Turbo is supposed to be here tomorrow as well.

Thanks guys. Tonight I got the head and timing components done, timing set, exhaust mani on, and bout to do intake mani. Turbo came in today and ordered a rebuild kit for it. Found out is was smaller than I originally thought. Its still a 60 trim t3 but it on has a .48ar turbine. Quicker spool but less power. I am goin to try to find me a .68ar housing so I can that that 350whp goal. Have a set of 720cc inj setup to order. Tial 38mm waste gate should be here next weekend.
Here is what I have done tonight.
Turbo arrived today. Ordered a rebuild kit for it. Found out the Edelbrock turbo mani is NOT a t3 flange. So its either sell the Edelbrock and go ram horn or build a adapter flange.
Great build bro. Im subscribed. You couldve gotten a thermal intake gasket. I took the idea from project car mag, turbo builb. And its mad cheap. I got an obx one for like 40$ shipped. And theyre proven. Keep up the good work.
kinda sad to see all that money invested and you didnt even upgrade the intake manifoldd

Awesome build thread man, that engine was nasty when you took it apart, but it looks very pristine now. Awesome Job. What are your plans for the Exterior of your ride?
Everyone was tellin me the stock one was good for 400whp. Stepped upto a 60mm tb and bored it to match. I will end up goin with a s2 mani or somethin along those lines just strapped on cash. Spend the money on the good/main parts first. Stuff like mani I can change later.
Exterior I am just goin to go with some 14s or 15s, ex or si lip, m3 lip spoiler, Night Hawk black pearl. I have a set of Tokico blues with springs I am pickin up in a few weeks. I am also goin with a 3 point front strut, 4 point rear, GSR sway, rear sub frame brace.

nice build so far keep it going. Please get a front bumper for that del sol. That's not attractive.
I have one just wasnt on it. I just mounted the side mount and was working on the core support. It was under the carport at the time. I am also shavin the vents on those fenders.
Well since I am still waiting on a few parts I decided to do a mini wire tuck this evening. Will post pics once I get them posted to photobucket.

As far as flipping the boost to put the hose on the bottom is it as simple as just unbolting it and flippin it back over and your done?

Rebuilt my turbo today. Building a adapter plate for it tomorrow.
