My order from majestic came through today! I got the oem front sway bar mounting brackets and hardware! I can't wait to get this stuff on! I thought about it, and will problably just stick with oem sways for now, because I know they will fit, and its got to be a huge improvement over none anyway.

I'm also looking to upgrade my front brakes before the swap to handle the b16, and was considering the fast brakes 11" economy kit, for the price and because I can't afford new wheels before the swap goes in.

http://www.fastbrakes.com/product_p/fb civ11 ek h1 e.htm

If anyone has input about this kit or another that would be better feel free to add some input! Thanks for following!

Yeah that sounds so nasty though!!! It that exhaust gives the impression that your car is tearing asphalt up when takes off!
The problem with that is when the car didn't move as fast as the sound lol.

Input on the brakes.....make sure they fit your wheels lol. Honestly, i don't think the economy setup is worth the money since it's close to an OEM upgrade. Civic sir/integra brakes would be enough. You'd just have a slightly larger rotor with the same integra caliper with that kit.

Yeah the exhaust really can be overkill, I just daydreamed about the mountain twisties this summer going to work and sounding like a race car!

Thank you for the heads up, if I can ever get ahold of this guy that had a bunch of civic parts cars I think he has a junked em1, I may just roll with those and get new discs and pads.

Dad was too busy to have time to sand blast my lca's Saturday, so I got out the die grinder and bought 2 brushes and started removing the rust off the arms today, I finished one with primer and black paint, its drying in the garage. Right now I'm taking a break, I'm half way done with the second. Here's some pics of the first one so far.

I'll update again when I finish.

I finished up and painted them all, I'm gonna wait 2 days for the paint to cure, then press in my new energy suspension bushings. I'll have pics up of that later, I'm beat now.

Make sure the paint cures in adequate temperatures! 50-70°

Looks good man. I'm looking forward to seeing those installed. How do you plan to install the energy suspension bushings? Do you have a bushing press?

Actually the bushings are 2 peice! So it will be wayyyy easier, just use a vice, 2 sockets on each side and an extended bar on the crank if needed... And lots a lube

Well I made more money than I thought last year, and with almost no deductibles, I'm not getting nearly what I thought back on taxes, so I guess I may have to settle for the b18b swap. From what I've read they aren't too bad, the heads just don't flow very well, maybe I can p&p the head, and get some cams.. Idk, I just hope its still peppy-ish

Okay, we'll I wish I had time to save for a b16 swap but due to my motor and lack of funds I'll either have to decide between getting an ls swap from h motors, or my buddy Jason, is selling his rebuilt ls/v. It's in his silver hatchback I posted a pic of earlier in the thread. I can get the ls/v swap rebuilt with a couple thousand miles for 2000$ and my old motor, including being swapped in. His car is a 97 so everything would just be a Change over. He's a really good mechanic and has been building Hondas for 15+ years, and its in his personal car. He's planning on going k sometime so he's willing to part with it. I don't know what to do really, I'm leaning toward this due to how convenient it is, but I know he has beat on it a bit, but also says its reliable. Any input would be a huge help.

Yeah.. I don't want to trust someone else possibly cutting corners... I'm playing with the idea of getting a second car and temporarily retireing the hatch.

I would stick the Hmotors swap. It may not be the engine you want, but at least you are 100% sure it is in great condition.

Hmotors swap for sure. I'd set a hamburger and fries on a hmotors swap and eat it without thinking twice.

Okay Kool. I guess later I can add turbo or do a well constructed ls/v myself. So I know it wasn't half asses. I may go turbo with a daily tune at 6-7 psi, that would be more than enough for me and I've always wanted a turbo car.

Thank you guys for all of your input very much.
