or a scion TC, totally forgot about that oneno i dont bout 5 days a week i sleep at his house leave at 8 because someone else comes in to help him.
and yea im thinking bout selling mine for 4k and buying me that one lol

Oh hell no not a tC. I really liked those cars at first but man are they slow as s**t. I floored one test driving it and theres no way in hell it could beat my ex. I've come to the conclusion that it's a girl car. and camry..... no way
but maybe with more patience you'll find a good deal. I bought mine out of pure excitement without looking for any other deals, result; Found a better civic with less miles and more mods the next day for cheaper.

lol yea i know if i were to do it for regular charge like those caretaker home things id be making a lot...but u know its better then my other job working out in the almond fields for 8 dollars an hour in the 90 degree weather 
and as for buying a seventh gen.....i think im going to have to get a 6th gen.
I told him i found a good one...he gave me a check today of 5g's.........seeing as how he is old and all he mustve forgot about the 6g's but im not complaining so now, it was hard enough finding a good enough 7th gen for 6.5g im going to have to go for 5.5gs so a 6th gen is what im guna be looking for now....oh well....its still pretty sweet

here is my advise:
-DO NOT GET A SALVAGE CAR, you do not know how it got salvage. It will also deteriorate quicker! Especially cars that have been in a frontal collision. The impact messes up other parts of the vehicle, like domino effect.
-Get EX or Si, the other ones are crap, they are not electrical, are weaker, and do not have a sun roof
-Sun roofs are girl magnets! girls dig it, they like to see the stars at night.
-In Los Angeles, many girls drive the 7th generation vehicles, Its a chicks car i think, so if you get it, then drop it, get rims, and get a nice body kit. It will then be a man's car.
-Get a loan and get your self a better car, a newer car.
-Get a 6th generation for cheap, fix it up the way you want it, get a nice paint job, suspension, and you will have a custom car that was made all by you!!!

and i would get a loan.....but...school is starting next month and i stiill havent paid for books and tuition so i dont really want to go in debt without paying school off first....but still i can get an ex....at least itll be an upgrade from my lx.....oh and i dont know if you guys know this but i am getting a 2003 toyota celica gts from my brother so i will still have a good car

He is from Canada, so they make automatic Si's there. So you are getting your brothers Celica, are you selling your current 6th gen and then getting another 6th gen in automatic? And you are lucky as hell that he just busted out a check for $5k, thats f**kin awesome.i dont think they make automatic si's do they?

lol just when all hope was lost for a 7th gen....i just got out of work......told me if i needed more money he can write me another one for 2/3k 
so i think im back in the 7th gen category!

I know the feeling, but hey he offered. If he is just willingly giving you this money to buy a car for yourself, Im assuming the dude is pretty well off. I wouldnt be too concerned about it.
Edit: You can also look for an RSX. The base models come in auto too, and they run similar in price.

just for the record i DID NOT ask for this i did tell him no i dont want the money i did tell him i can drive fine with stick shift i did tell him he can keep the money...........but he still said yes so i am in no position to argue
