agreed, but why not piece together a complete custom kit for less price? Especially if you're not going to be running the e-manage?

jpsec: maybe you got 188 at the crank. 88hp increase....sorrry i dont belive it. 12.5 hp for every psi....i bet. anywho, some of us (most of us) who are against the kit hate it cuz its costs so damn much to get a complete system (turbo kit + intercooler + bov). We could put together a better kit that puts out more power and is cheaper. i dont understand why people go this route, oh wait...yeah i do....cuz they are caught up in the whole greddy = god. greddy kit is way too overpriced and you dont even get that much for your money.
anfrey: you said the 15g maxes at 15psi, yet say the b16 kits turbo may max out at more than 1bar...uhhhh 15psi is more than one bar. ;) 1 bar is 14.4.

So you guys think it's better to get the Jackson racing supercharger instead of the greddy turbo kit?

The greddy kit is better then people give it credit for being if it wasnt not so many poeple would buy it now would they?

that's because not so many people know enough to customize their turbo setup

have u guys heard about the Edelbrock turbo kit? right now they only ahve it for D16Y8....but its also coming for the B16 http://edelbrock.com/automotive/index.html
i would most definately prefer the JG kit over the greddy. reasons?
- t28 ball-bearing turbo
- comes with ALMOST EVERYTHING (intake manifold, bov, piping, fmic, decent fuel management, boost gauge, etc)
- about the same cost as greddy kit + greddy fmic + bov
- did i mention ball-bearing turbo??

no its not... you can piece together cheaper. VAFC hack + missing link works as good if not better than e-manage
wow, all this coming from someone who doesnt even own his own car, and says the same thing one or two other people say on this site  I would enjoy watching you try to install your own turbo and try doing a vafc hack, and f**king up your car.

and even if e-manage isnt the best management around, its good for the kit. The kit isnt designed for people who want to boost 20+ psi, its for moderate gains. You guys are comparing it against other kits that are designed for different things.

Another thing for you bastards that dont live in the Nazi Emissions Low Budget Poor state of California, GReddy kits have what all we residents here want; A f**king CARB EO NUMBER! so f**k you all who say the GReddy kit is s**t. I am not one of those people who say GReddy is god, and I do not use the e-manage either...because I am not using the kit for its original purpose, I bought it for the carb number....so f**k off

P.S. VAFC = expensive indiglo clocks

thats why i said just waht i have heard cause it all just depends on who you are talking to know what i mean?

I like that the jg kit is COMPLETE as the greddy kit isnt, that kinda pisses me off.

Dont make a custom dont get greddy or jg, just save some money and get fullrace=)

what are your reasons for this statement?
- overpriced.
- little upgradeabilty (you can raise the boost with a pulley they sell, but that's where it stops)
- belt-driven

ok, you get minimal gains...but they are like 300 dollars, and you can do so little to them.....Hondata is just a hundred more and the possibilities are pretty much endless

v-afc = a lot more than just being a monitoring device... as the name implies, it is an air fuel controller, as well as a vtec controller, amongst other functions
