You dont get very much power out of them not very reliable the company doenst back up its worentee or however you spell it very over priced the reason could go on i did tons of research on it just go on google and look up revies mostly not very good.

I know...

1) owner of supercharged miata; had his for 3 years, went out, they replaced it
2) owner of supercharged si, had his for about 2 yaers....still good

ahhh, but if you had said the same for the vortech sc, I would have agreed, because vortechs are big peices of s**t......no argument, whoever tries to argue my point here is an ass

well hondata is obviously better, as it covers more things... and much more expensive (~$100/hour for hondata dyno tuning)

v-afc is something almost anyone can tool with, as it is a PIGGYBACK.

THere is someone on here who got 18hp out of a motor with like i/h/e. What else do you expect from that, cams dont even give you that much that are more then 300.

Cant say many bad things about that can you?

i would take turbos over superchargers for the simple features of boost adjustability and room to grow. once u max out your turbo (given that you've built your block and all), all u have to do is swap out the turbo and compressor witha nother, and you're pretty much set (other than going in for another dyno tuning session)

of course I agree turbos are better than supers, but you cant totally rule them out altogether

Hondata is also a piggyback anfrey...and to tune it, my shop charges about 200 for the full tune

I am not one of those people who say GReddy is god, and I do not use the e-manage either...because I am not using the kit for its original purpose, I bought it for the carb number....so f**k off

e-manage IS TUNABLE. you need the support tool, a laptop, the usb connector cable, and the secret password.... i'm a member of the emanage yahoo group, and there's some pretty good discussions there

I feel that superchargers are meant for higher displacement engines. For the price, it just doesn't seem worth it.

True, superchargers are a b***h to turn up the boost. Turbos all the way.

Are you sure about that? Isnt the S200 a standalone?

Just some info dont know if anyone cares but on jacksonraceing they had a competition between greddy and jrsc's and on an ex dont remember what year the jrsc ex ran a 15.1 and the greddy ran a 15.2 both times not wurth the money i think.

building a fast n/a is hella respectful, however it is also very expensive, and not worth it, and will lower the life of the engine significantly....if you get big cams like JUN or sumthin....I'd say a built n/a engine wears harder than a turbo one

I know, but meh already going in that direction and found very good prices on ally my N/A parts so the turbo idea went out the window, but once i blow this motor and sell all the parts .

I will step into the life of boost.

actually NA *is* better.. they tend to handle a lot more responsively. sorry, i can't back up my statement at this time.

anyway, guys.. TONE IT DOWN. if u want to flame each other, do it by PM or thru an instant messenger. we were having a real good thread until the bullshit arose. i've talked to both of you personally, so just f'n cool it. both of you.
