hahahahahaha 18 psi on stock motor hahaha.b18c1 block and a b16a2 head. I am shooting for 400whp. The motor is bone stock besides ITR cams.
dude you can do 8-10 stock motor 12-14 with a block guard. amything higher and youll have reliable to the stop sign down your street.
and you made the mistake of saying o well if i blow it ill build it. with 18 psi your gonna blow a piston right out the side of the block. then your gonna spend 50 dollars to buy a new b18c1 block. unless you wanna jb weld it wich is impossible.
do it right the first time please. be patient.
and you realize when u crank the Psi up your just forcing more air into the motor. but with more air u need more gas and more spark.
walbro 255lph in tank fuel pump, atleast 750cc injectors for that much power, and a fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump will take care of your fuel.
irridiium plugs and some beefed up wires (not pepboys) may handle that for spark but i would go with an igniion system i.e. MSD
and what are you planning on tuning this on. theres more to it than welding your own manifold.
and by the looks of that turbo is it a t3/t04e ball bearing?
and then think about it, if you have 400 hp how are you gonna get that to the ground? what tranny? do u have an lsd? otherwise one tire is gonna skate you throught 1st and 2nd gear. and with 400hp your gonna destroy axels. and then your gonna need drag radials too.
theres allot more involved in making a 400 hp street car than a custom made manifole. wich doesnt look bad BTW
