i heard h22's are heavy so probably better to go with b18c's..they practically put out almost the same amount of hp's...or maybe i'm wrong. but that's what i heard from the shop i go to.

also if you get an h22...you'd have to get rid of power steering and a/c...or one of the two. coz there's not enough space in the engine bay of a civic.

lets see.. to put an h22a in your gonna need...

custom axles and half shaft, or you can half ass it with a 90-93 accord half shaft and 86-89 teg axles.
hasport mounts
lots of wiring work
some hammering in the engine bay
lots of shift linkage work
suspension work

all said and done... including cost of motor probably 6g's or so, if you do your own work. have a shop do it... and thats gonna climb. a b18c on the other hand.... needs 7 wires to be run
can be done by anyone with an engine harness and a good set of hand tools
dontn have to buy any aftermarket parts to make it work.

your choice...

i think he means the B18C j-spec 195 hp vs. the H22A 200..........

i've heard a sh*t load of complaints about not being able to turn with the H22A. If you're makin' a strickly track car then H22A.....but an everyday ride.....no question B18C (the type R) the GSR motor is in a lower leauge of motors

B18c5 is NOT JDM. B18C5 is the USDM ITR motor. The jdm version is either a b18c6 or 7. I know you said JDM just because you think it sounds cool.

B18C- JDM 1.8L DOHC VTEC- 94+ Integra SiR-G (180ps)
